yeah if you don't care about the ps2 games then the 40gig for sure.

Get a 60GB is you have PS2 games to play. Get a 40Gb if you don't need backwards comparability.

Why do you need the cardreaders?

For your computer stuff? Just stream it since you can share data with the PS3

For the PSP - just use the usb cable

For your camera etc - just use the usb cable..., or do like I do. I pull them off to the computer then if I want them on the ps3 I stream them - not very hard..

I have a usb headset and I never use more than one usb port. I charge the controller via the laptop since I can put the laptop next to me in the couch. Someone made a valid argument about guitar hero and need for usb ports (or the dingy thing) but that is about the only reason.....
