By offering improved (and still reliable) hardware?
If that's the case, all companies should strive to make themselves "look bad".
by callin out their competitor for releasin an improved systemand sayin how it makes them look bad for no havein this to begin with and then turnin around and doin the same thing you just called another company out forThe competitor stiffed its fanbase by offering an HDMI port (you cannot add those to the old units) and a significantly larger HDD (that you cannot add to the old units without forking over a pretty penny) in the new units.
Sony's only change was to add 20GB. I should add our HDD is easily user replacable. For a fair price as well.
I'd say the two situations are as different as night and day.
Which makes your comparison invalid.

How did they screw over consumers by adding HDMI?? Last time I checked my 360 games look just as good using my component as my PS3 games using HDMI. At least they added the cables needed to play games in HD, unlike that other company.
Well Ms cousld have given you HDMI from the begining, but they didnt, and all they gave you was a 20gig hdd.Or in the core's case no hdd. People who wanted HDMI but bought a normal XBOX360 they're screwed, they have to buy a whole new system to get HDMI or to get a decent size hdd they will have to pay 179.99 dollars. so what they gave you a cable to play in Hd, sony did'nt, a HDMI cable to play in HD can be bought for $5 on the internet so its no big deal.
