Who is creating all those alts? There is a surprising amount of new accounts trying to make "Beta Gamer" for someone who buys at launch a thing oO
Wrong. I am not seeing your definition listed below. Could you please explain more?
Definition:
BETA Tester: A beta test refers to the distribution of pre-release game software to a select group of people so that they can test the game in their own homes.
Core Gamer: A core or mid-core gamer is a player with a wider range of interests than a casual gamer and is more likely to enthusiastically play different types of games but without the amount of time spent and sense of competition of a hardcore gamer.
Gaming Enthusiast: A subdivision among gamers, who mainly focuses on possessing/building high-end hardware & opting for top class performance &/or visuals. 'Enthusiasm' means Intense Interest in a subject.
Casual Gamer: Someone who only plays a few games per year. The term "hardcore" is just a bad way of saying "dedicated".
Hardcore Gamer: tend to care less about graphics then casual gamers. While some specialize in a single genre, they typically have fairly diverse taste in games, frequently playing a wide variety of games from different genres.
