I own both the 360 and PS3 and I'm happy with both. I bought the 360 first back in 2006 then I got the PS3 MGS4 bundle last month well because it was a great deal IMO and I love the MGS series but also, I supposely knew like everyone else that FF13 would be exclusive to the PS3 and it will get GT5 later on. Anyways, I'm somewhat saddened/disappointed that FF13 is no longer exclusive to the PS3 but I'm also happy as a gamer that other gamers will beable to enjoy greatness of FF13.
I know a lot of people are saying Sony is now doomed for not having enough AAA exclusives but I disagree. What I think Sony should try to do to get ahead of the game is:
- make a USB device where you can put a UMD disc in and play games or watch movies on the big screen through the PS3. Pretty much like the GameBoy add-on for the GameCube. This would be great for people who don't own a PSP. I own Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops but no PSP, lol.
- I'm against this idea as I think the current version of FF7 is fine but a exclusive remake of Final Fantasy 7 for the PS3 as it will definitely move consoles but also, make many disgruntled PS3 turn that frown upside down.
- As with FF7, Sony should try and push for a exclusive Chrono game on the PS3. It's been too long anyways IMO. A new Chrono game please :).
- The Legend of Dragoon was awesome IMO. I think it's time for Sony to step up to the plate with a sequel or something. Even a new IP would be awesome.
There's a few more things but I'll leave that for now.
