Hah ha thats it i get bashed for my purchase every where i go i m not even going to tell ppl i have it anymore. Every one in my town has a 360 but and i dont care but they always say how ps3 sux and when i bring up a good point against the 360 they say who cares about that. i ALSO GET BOTHERED BY MY GAMESTOP PEEPSBUT I ALWAYS WIN IN THE END( THANKS TO FOLDING @HOME) which makes them feel stupid and give me what i want. HUrry up and win sony cuz i am tired fo arguing for u. its not my job to shut these ppl up its yours.about 3 months i walked into my ebgames readier than ever to purchase a 60gb ps3... i asked the guy if they had any left and he walked into the back came out and said yes we do then said "if i may ask though, why do you want one"... i continued to tell him all of the reasons why i did (but i didnt know i had to haha) and all 3 guys working there continued to bash every freakin thing i said... such as the blu-ray player they said was going to fail and not worth it.. how resistance is the only good game out, and blah blah all that bull... anyways then they asked me if i had a 360 and i said yes i do and they said do you have gears of war and i said yes i have that also.. they said why do you need anything else and i ended up having to hear all 3 of them bash on the system endlessly.. i walked out of the store without a ps3 in my hand.. went back up the next day and purchased it.. now every time i walk into the store to purchase a ps3 game i have to endure dirty looks or them calling my stupid (whenever i dont even know the guys)... is it just me or is there a craaaaapload of people that just want to see sony fail.. i mean cmon guys its sooo dumb.. i have not been disappointed with my purchase at all and i love the system, and if i love the system now when there isnt even alot out yet, just imagine how much we will all love it in the future :D

Now I can understand if they were attempting to persuade you to purchase another console because they don't hink that PS3 is worth it, I have heard about it many times on these forums, however, what is really unacceptable is them harrassing you about your purchase. If that was me I would have smacked all three of them in their face, they don't know better than you, if you wanted a PS3 you should have gotten a PS3 on that very same day. dahaka_1

EB games employees tried to convince me not to buy a ps3. they also tried to stop me from buying any games. they just kept saying things like that game is horrible you should get a 360

The fact that you put up with this deserves a whole other thread. I can't even engage what you said about people wanting Sony to fail. How in the world did you let some dorks push you around like that? Their job is to sell you merchandise. Not offer you their propaganda. Ok if they suck so freaking bad why do you guys continue to give them your money? Take it to Best Buy or Walmart. I refuse to support idiots by not spending money on them. Seriously after all that you went BACK? Why? Is there absolutley no one else you can buy games from? The Gamestop I used to go to refused to turn on their PS3 demo machine, I left and never looked back, screw em! bob_dartagnanthis made me think of a story of one of my friends. He got out of college and landed a job at a good company. His whole young adult life he was salvating over the thought of a new BMW- sure they have their downsides (reliability, cost of parts and service, ect.) but they are also an incredible machine (like the PS3). He walked into a dealership ready to pay for a new one straight up (he had been saving for a while). Being a young guy, the salesman immediately steered him towards a used models without accually asking him what he wanted. He stopped the saleman and said he had to go. Four hours later he came up the lot driving a brand new 6-Series (about $75K worth of car) and waved to the salesman. He had gone to a rival BMW dealership upstate and picked it up. His moral was, tell those who give you ****ty service to **** off. You pay their paychecks, Dont let opinionated salespeople tell you what you want, make the point to go somewhere else and buy it. I dont shop at Gamestop or EB because the salespeople act like their word is god and the last thing I need is some 30 year old geek telling me what I should buy or enjoy. Take your money elseware. I dont need some gaming "expert" telling me that EA is evil just because I like to play TW 07 or Madden. Now I shop at BB almost exclusively. Sorry for the long post, things like this just get me raging haha
