Why does mostly all the games support only 720p and Xbox 360 supports 1080p especially the multiplatform games say like madden that are on ps3 with 720p but on the xbox 360 with 1080p please if anybody knows the answer please let me know been wanting to know for a long time now.

PS3 boxes show the native resolution and the 360 boxes show the upscaled resolution. They're both the same seeing as you can upscale PS3 games to 1080p, while the 360 games also run native at 720p, except they just show the upscaled on their boxes for some reason.

Make it look better, ps3 should so do the same thing, some people look at that.

Yeah, I'm surprised at how modest Sony is at "advertising" the resolution on the back of those boxes.
