Maybe not for you, but for me games are a pashion.

Did that during the ceremonies this morning. The war is not completely all about money because there were things going on that was just as bad as the Holocaust during WWII in Iraq and Afghanistan. I know that there are a lot of very good Islam people. The reason people have so much hate is because they don't understand that there are fanatics in all relegions from all over the world, that includes the Christian's, the KKK was just as bad and it used the Bible for there reason of all the hate and crimes.

I am a true believer in the Bible but I also beleive we all should get along in this world.

To the topic starter, you should have probably realised by now that gamespot ain't an american community. I mean, if we should give a moment of silence to these victims, I see no reason why we shouldn't be giving a moment of silence for the people of Sudan, victims of the Chernobyl disaster, ect...

Moreover, you must have also realised that even a fraction of the american community do not support this war, and a lot more people from around the world support it less, so this ain't exactly the best places to post this.

Please don't take this as disrespect, what happened on 9/11 was horrible, but this isn't the right time nor place for a moment of silence.

The American soldiers didnt die protecting anyone's freedom, they died occupying another country. Iraq and Afghanistan has suffered way more civilian casualties than USA have since (and including) 9/11.

my best friend died in a car accident not that many years ago. and i can say, even if it lives on inside me the rest of my life, im not gonna call up all our friends (the guys he and i knows/knew) and say "hay you guys, let's stfu for a moment, and remember how great a friend he was and remember what he looked like after his head got smashed by a lightpole" Sure it was tragic, but people have to move on. or else they are gonna end up sorry and sad. no offence to you or anyone else who has lost anyone on the WTC thing, it was tragic. and i know what it's like to lose someone.

I'm New Yorker, so this probably means more to me than others because I saw it all happen.

BUT hey I got another idea if we want to have a silance for all 9/11 victims what about all the other people who die by getting shot or hit by a stray bullet, the (racist remark alert, no Im not racist) the poor mexican in his cornerstore at Queens, NY who got killed in a robbery what about them huh.
