I am fairly unfamiliar with swapping out hard drives in consoles, but have seen that the PS4 comes with a 500GB SATA II 5400 RPM hard drive at 9.5mm thick.
My question is that if I am going to replace this hard drive with something larger, what specifications do I need to ensure the new Hard Drive actually meets?
I know that many are saying it definitely cannot be larger than 9.5mm, but does it need to be SATA II? Does it need to be 5400 RPM? Thanks for your help with this.
