Game is fantastic. I have it for the 360 and I'm friggen loving it. the country side and cities are MASSIVE and the amount of side quests/missions you can do are great. I'm really enjoying it.
i agree. i was for a while now not even considering this game. I was on the fence and then decided that I would wait for other titles to come out and just possibly rent AC. After watching some more videos and reading more up on it, i felt I had to play it. I went a lil hipocritical and picked it up yesterday. Your right the game is a bit slowpaced right now and ALtair's voice acting is sub par. Otherwise a pretty fun game, i especially love sword fighting and trying to land that perfect combo kill!:)
It is a nice game. If I were to listen to 1UP or IGN, I would have been screwed. It goes to show ya, don't always go by what one or two reviews say. If you truly like a game or have an interest in the genre, go for it. I checked some background info on the reviewer from IGN, and he had games I either had no interest in or some games that were a waste of time (I might have played).
Oh and for the record, I did manage to purposely kill a guard in front of anotherguard and he pulled his sword out to take me out. So I don't know where this idea of a guard not reacting after one of his own being killed came from.
I can't wait to get this game tomorrow. I don't mind the gamebeing slow pace, that means the stealth is the fundamental part of the game which is exactly what I am into. :D
The issue about the frame-rate isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. It is noticeable at time but the gameplay and awsome visuals make-up for it. Also, I'm playing it in 1080i.
despite even a few mixed reviews, this game is still averaging pretty well on metacritic and gamerankings. when most of the reviews are still good and only one or two are in the 7 range, im thinking its still a pretty good game. hell ratchet and clank got a 7.5 here at gamespot, I just finished that game last night and would give it a 9.3 or 9.4. Reviewers aren't perfect people, so one or two reviews shouldn't sway you.
