Im sure you have all heard about Activision dropping the ps3 and psp so what do you think of Activision anyways? are they really THAT important? I think they are pretty important but I also think they are bluffing. What arrogant idiots! I say LET THEM drop the ps3 and psp and then they will see how low their sells go! How dare they...We will tear them down with the very weapons they thought to destroy us! We are fighting for out very survival lol killzone 2 refrence...sorry Im a bit emotional I was listening to Lux Aeterna while Iposted this which made me think "This is war Activision!!"

Activision is the new EA with regards to milking their games to the fullest. I've have lost count on how many Guitar Hero games there are now and the Call of Duty series is becoming stale.

It sounds like more of a threat to get Sony to do a price-cut than a serious plan of action. Let them drop it? Hahahaha, no. I don't know about you, but I like playing as many games as possible.hazelnutman

yeah by that I mean that I predict if they drop the ps3/psp they will soon come crawling back.

If Activision doesn't want my money, I certainly won't force them to take it. Beginning IMMEDIATELY. There are so many great games out there, I couldn't afford to buy half of the non-Activision ones anyway.

They could financially kick sony in the nuts, but in this business anything goes.

seeing as the ps3 makes 8% of activions revenue, activision probably means this. We'll see how this ends, praying to God this is a bluff.

I didn't support Activision anyway. All their games with the exceptions of those by Infinity Ward are crap and milkage. I don't care for Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk, Spiderman, Transformers, or anything by Treyarch. Activision is the worst publisher, worse than EA or Ubi, bc they milk and milk. They dropped awhole bunch of original titles like WET and ghostbusters bc they thought they couldn't milk them. Can someone come along and free IW from Activision?

Well seeing how activision is one of the largest third party companies in the business I believe that losing there support would a big problem in the consoles lifecycle. I don't think it will happen but it just goes to show how much pressure there is to drop the price. I do believe that they will release a slim version and drop the price just before the holidays. If they would have announced a price drop at E3 the only game that benefits from it really is infamous whereas if you drop it before the holidays uncharted 1& 2, R&C, infamous, and the rest holiday rush of games benefits from the drop. While a lot of us would have liked to see it I still think that its better for the company to hold out till at least TGS to make an announcement. If they don't do any of that this year then they are out of their f'in minds

i dont think they will just stop putting games on the PS3 for a simple reason...

theres to much money involved... and at the end of the day Activision is a company and they want to have the biggest profit they can have...

stopping games on the PS3 would probably lose them alot of money.

I'd usually try to analyze and see both sides of the argument here, but I'm genuinely surprised that a publishing juggernaut like Activision (or should I say Bobby Kotick) crying as if Sony took away his candy... Naturally, if these are Acivision's true intentions, it will no doubt be detrimental to Sony, for obvious reasons. but still, it seems like Activision will be paying the steeper price... After all, Sony has already sold a ridiculous amount of consoles, at a premium price and a faster rate than a certain competitor mind you... needless to say there's a very large fan base already installed on the PS3 side, so for Activison to simply turn its back on all of that potential profit is a ludicrous notion... I just wonder if the board of directors and all of stockholders (owners) collectively face-palmed when the CEO decided to run his mouth like that…

It seems activision is stepping on every ones toes lately, well i guess all we can do is wait and see if anything happens, i doubt it though.

It's just Activision's way of pressuring Sony into a price drop because they think that they run run the industry since they have Guitar Hero and CoD. If those games were erased from the world I wouldn't lose a minute of sleep at night.
