Hello folks. I currently have a Turkish PSN Plus account on my PS4. Unfortunately the free game Outlast won't be available in the Turkish PSN Store and therefor I would like to get a US account and get PSN Plus for it as well.

My questions are

1-) Can I have both my Turkish and US accounts on the same PS4?

2-) After downloading outlast from my US account, how can I play it on my original Turkish account?

Thank you.

1. If the PlayStation 4 is anything like the PlayStation 3 then you can, by simply creating an additional user for the United States PlayStation Network account, just know that you will have to provide fake information and break the terms of service in order to make a PlayStation Network account for the United States; if you do not live in the United States. Also know, that although it is unlikely, any form of breach toward the terms of service can possibly result in a ban; but this particular breach is unlikely to result in a ban from what I know.

2. The video game should appear on both users, but sometimes video games from different regions may have incompatibility issues with an account of a different region. I do not know if Outlast has on-line multi-player or not because I have not been keeping up with it or doing research on the video game, but just know for future reference that there are sometimes incompatibilities with video games from one region, being used on a PlayStation Network account of another region; such as on-line multi-player incompatibilities.

Also, if you plan to do something like this from time to time, just know that video games that require an on-line pass are region locked, so if you ever want to do something like this for a video game that requires an on-line pass, just know you will not be able to use your Turkish PlayStation Network account, if the video game and on-line pass are specifically for a different region.

Thanks for the response Glitter.

After reading your response I actually decided to grab a US PSN account and just use it and never bother with the Turkish PSN Account. I can grab gift cards from amazon easily and games are cheaper on the US PSN store.

My only concern is if in online games I will be directly connected to US servers or will matchmaking be done via my IP adress.

@iardas: You should be directly connected to the United States' servers, since you will be using a PlayStation Network account for the United States; but I myself would not rule out that some video games may possibly not work this way and instead go based on IP address.

@iardas: back in 2007, when i first got my ps3, there wasn't any turkish psn store and i could not download any demos and buy games, etc... so i created a us psn account and continued to use it ever since... over the years the turkish psn store also got created and i have an account there as well...

you can use accounts from different regions on a ps4 without any problems or processes, i am still using my us psn account as my primary gaming account, i had been a psn plus subscriber, so i did not need to do it again after i acquired my ps4...

since the us psn store does not accept credit cards or paypal accounts anywhere but us, i had to purchase us psn gift cards (maximuscards.com is the site i am using most to purchase instant gift cards, with their codes sent to e-mail)... i have to admit us psn store is still cheaper than the eu counterparts after the gift card resellers profits (i.e. you pay ~ 59 usd for a 50 usd psn gift card)...

if you have anymore questions about this issue, you can contact me directly and in turkish as well... :)

Hmmmm, even though none of that applies to me it still was very informative! :)
