I recently bought this monitor that has a HDMI 1080P input. I have been playing my Playstation 3 on it and although the screen is only 22 inches it is a nice affordable option for people who can't afford the 1080P televisions right now. This is only a good option if gaming is your main concern. It does not have a tv tuner card so you can not watch HD tv on it out of the box. However even after buying all the necessary electronics to watch HD tv on it, it will still be way cheaper than a good HD television. I have provided the link below in case any one else is interested. I can not stress enough that even though at screen sizes lower than 40 inches the benefits of 1080P vs 780P are generally lost, Blu-ray movies on this screen still look good. Just let me know if you have any more questions. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824112005

I own this monitor as well.  It gets triple duty having my PC, PS3, and 360 attached to it.  It's a great monitor.  I sometimes have viewing angle issues but that's mainly due to my layout.  Well worth the money.

Somehow, I don't think a 22-inch monitor will replace a 50" 1080p HDTV for anyone but teenagers who can only game in their bedroom.

1080p is kinda useless on a 22" screen. The difference between 1080p and 720p on such a screen is trivial. Not even worth trying to get something like that. Might as well save that money for a little longer to double it. Have 600-700 in hand and u can get a 40" TV. I'm pretty sure I saw a 40" Vizio 1080p for 699.99

thats not worth it. 1080p on a 22 is useless, and the C&B ratios are total crap. dont waste money on this POS sceptre monitor.

I don't mean to spoil the party but 1680 x 1050 ain't 1080p. Only 24" monitors sport 1080p resolution. Your about 7000 pixels off.
