After the 4.0 update..............

Once you start-up the PS3, a warning message comes up. Is there a way to shut it off?

I just click "X" and it goes away (after you turn your controller on, of course)

I haven't gone online for 3 months now. Looks like I've missed alot of updates.

are people really that impatient these days? i know it might annoy others...but its not that bad...i know all of us have endured worse things for much longer durations

It's an annoyance to everyone. Saying people shouldn't mention it is just being a corporate apologist.

its not about being impatient its just annoying to look at, i rather get back that "PLAYSTATION 3" logo with the jingle tune that used to pop up everytime you start a game, idk why they removed that, i personally liked it and was irritated when they removed it, people who got thier first ps3 when the slim was released wont know what i'm talking about since as soon as those came out they released that update that removed it
