[QUOTE="gizmo_logix"][QUOTE="Videodogg"] [QUOTE="btc138"]yeah i played through this game on my sony hdtv and i was constantly yelling to my roomates "guys come look at this", andeven though they are fans of the other system, they stood there in awe. the way the game was made was amazing, but of course the biggest flaw is the length. but i always found myself amazed throughout the whole game til the amazing ending. i still just cant get over the graphics and animations (and yes i own all of the other consoles also)Videodogg
So far...i get no awe. I just finished fighting that Fox guy, what a fruit loop he was. Fun, and funny ..yes. But the whole thing looks like a very good PS2 game in spots ( technically ) not so great, blurry textures and a lot of screen glitching or screen tearing. Im not trying to be overly picky...thats just what i see. Its not ruining the game, but i dont see this as a exceptional graphics presentation. Right now im viewing this as a highly polished bit of interactive media entertainment, but definatley not a first class video game.
Holy cow! Looks like another xbot looking for an excuse to hate on a good PS3 game. :) Looky here...it was YOU that put yourself in an impossible situation and much too high expectations. This game rates around a 80% the net. It's a very good game, although short. Now, if you want to go and try and compare it to Gears. That's your fault. Also, be aware that there are xbots that hate "artsty" type games and absolutly love war and carnage games like UT3 and Gears. So, there's definitely a ****difference. So, spare us the "definatley not a first ****video game." You set yourself up for a disappointment. Looky here. I dont happen to think HS should be held up as a role model for best of the best for PS3. I am enjoying the game. But god help ps3 if this is what every game should aspire to be like. Its too short, too repetitive, been there /done that God of War gameplay and the graphics are not nearly good enough, blurry , unsharp muddy textures abound, glitches and hiccups and tearing video. Spare me the "artistic" argument as that is usually a excuse for hiding flaws. Its a good piece of entertainment...just a bit expensive and a bit shallow...no real skill needed. Most anyone can button mash their way through it. Not exactly a high mark for video game greatness.
I agree with you, I made the mistake buying Lair, so I decided to rent HS and thank god I did becuase it's just not worth the money at all, even if it does have downloadable content its probably gonna cost some more $$$, its a good game while it lasts, I learned my lesson I'm only going to buy ps3 games after I rent them or play a demo.
