I got Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition off of PSN a long time ago. I already beat the game on PC, but none of the DLC scenarios are available on the PC version. I booted up the game on PS3 and learn that I can't access the DLC. I have to beat the game to access those DLC scenarios. I really don't feel like playing the whole game again(especially on PS3.) Can I download another persons save game and use that? Or will I get in trouble because of trophies or whatever.

I think you can but it won't unlock trophies if you do. Google should be of more help than i am.

I am not sure if this is the case with most games but I know some will only let you read a save-game (not write). So you can load the file up and play but can't save the game after that.

It might work, it might not. My PS3's data corrrupted a while back and I lost everything. Luckily, I had previously backed up most of my saves on to a flashdrive. Copied them over, some worked, while others did not.

I'm not really sure on that. I've only played my own games not someone else's.

It has worked in the past for me. I assume it would depend on the game itself. I think I did it with NFS: Carbon because I had beated it on PS2 but then rented the PS3 version a year or so later to see the difference and didn't want to start from scratch.

You can only use other people's saves if you are a total ****. Are you a total ****? If so, feel free.

I do know that you won't get banned for it or anything, my friend used my save's in a couple games as well. The only problem is, that some games (Like stated above) limit you to only playing someone else's save game.
