I have oblivion on my PC but i run it at lowest quality and it runs at like 10 fps.... Is it worth it to get oblivion because everybody i asked said yes. I'm just scared i could spend the 70 bucks on something different like NGS or something.
I'm not sure if I would if money is an issue and you own it on another platform already. It's undoubtedly the best game on PS3 at the moment so it's a tough call.
Yes buy it you ar emissing out on ALOT. Its a techinical genius and hands down the best game i have ever played. Get the full experience because its the best thing for the ps3 until heavenly sword.
well i cant realy play it properly... see it freezes and it took me 2 horus to get out of the dungeon cuz of framerate..junk56
If that's the case go and buy Oblivion tomorrow you've pletnty of time to save up for MGS 4. And now that you've given that info I can answer your original question. Yes you are missing out. Missing out on something HUGE!!
rpg's are fun, ive had oblivion since it released on the ps3. graphics are real nice and everything, theres LOTS of stuff to do, but im gonna sell my copy to help finance rainbow six vegas and the darkness.

definitely get the PS3 version. it loads less and looks better than the 360 version. gametrailers.com has a full video review of it and they even include comparisons.
You know i'm a fan of RPG's and what not, and I had the money to spend back when I got it (for ps3) and it's not a bad game, I love how it's non-linear and the graphics are reallynice in HD, but the only thing I don't like about the game that makes me put it down all the time and play something else is the way that you lvl and how everything else lvl's with you so it's a 'challenge' all the time...ya I dont mind the standard rpg progressive challenge but having everything same lvl as me no matter what kinda defeats the purpose of lvling up and ENJOYING being able to own some things when you go back to do a quest you skipped or something.
However I popped it in last night, and I ended up sleeping outside this place and somehow developed Vampirism lol so now all my stats are boosted but i die during the day in the sun XD asked a friend how it happened he said I must have been bit when I was sleeping lol but I'm glad cause it adds a new dynamic to the game knowing I can only be outside duringnight time lol. I just hope I can shop for stuff in the towns still @__@
Oblivion for the PS3 is one of my favorite games ever. If you have an amazing computer than yes it is better than the PS3 version but I can garantee that you can buy or build a PC that runs Oblivion as well as it does on the PS3 for less than $600.00. Do not wait any longer go and buy oblivion for the ps3 and you wont regret it!
I haven't play the PC version but I am under the assumption that the game-play is pretty much the same. So, Why spend the money on the same game for just improved graphic while you can get a completely different PS3 game (like NGS, R6 Vegas, The darkness) and get a completely different experience. Well, just my opinion.
