I was a big fan of 04. But I do not like UT3. Little servers online, many are laggy, and (to me at least) it seemed like an exact copy of UT04 with beter graphics. If you liked it tell me if you have played UT04. I would guess that the people who liked it havn't played UT04.

Yeah, I was disappointed with it also, and I have also played UT04, which was really good - 4 years ago! Got UT3 imported a couple of weeks ago and I'm not playing it at all now, feels like a bit of a waste of money. I'm just holding out for the UK release, then I might give the online game another shot. But up to now, I haven't been too impressed at all.
I thought the game was crap from the second I fired it up. And Yes, I have played past UT's (I know that was about to be someones argument). No idea why I still even own it. Should trade it in for someting a little better, like Surfs Up or Blacksite. (OK, its not as bad as those 2 but............)

Yeah i'm quite disappointed with the game. It feels like a 7.5 game in my perspective. The online isn't really detailed at all. There are some occasionally laggy moments. The matches don't even show you how many deaths you have...so idk. All i know is i'm probably going to return it or trade it for something else.

As a longtime UT fan, I agree that UT3 is terribly disappointing. Don't get me wrong I like the game and it plays more stable than 2k4 ever did on my pc and look better but the lack of features hurt UT3. It feels as if they just took a step backwards. I feel less mobile and more grounded in ut3. Also, the firing speeds of flak cannon and plasma rifle have been slowed down making them less effective then previous versions. The singleplayer in 2k4 is better than the campaign in UT3 bc it doesn't try to embrace some crap story with good cutscenes but just lets you go off into tournament ladders letting you pick your team and matchs. 2k4 had more modes like assault, bombing run, domination, and invasion that epic cut from ut3. UT3 also has huge problems with lag, slow response time, glitches, and mic communication that other games on psn don't have. For me, I feel like I have a love-hate relationship with UT3 bc the gameplay is good when the issues don't pop up but they do and ut3 could have been so much more.
Ya know, this is the first UT I've ever played. But I really enjoy it, I'm dissapointed by the fact this game isnt selling more, and that they're not more people online. I hate that the most.
No disappointments here, I love the game. Glad I bought it. Whenever I change my NAT type from type 3 to either types 1 or 2, I'll be enjoying it more because I'll be able to play online with way less lag.
i got it 3 weeks ago and love it...mostly cuz of all the mods...but yea love it and if you havnt yet, plug a mouse and keyboard in it, it makes a world of difference as a previous poster said. =P

You need friends. Real ones. Maybe a girlfriend will help. Seriously. Even when I played games online (Counterstrike, original Unreal Tournament) I never spoke like that. It sounds ... dorky
UT3 is awesome, its just a shame theres not much people playing it apparently. You guys are just pissed off cuz no one plays it, if CoD4 had the same fate, people would think it sucks too. Someone message me plz when there's more people playing it online.

I wasnt disapointed mainly because its the first time a ut game (like this) has been on a console. If you remember 04 is only for pc and i used to love it. Now i love 3 on my ps3 and i love the mods. Its amazing to have a game like this on a console.
