lol why do people keep starting these topics. No matter how strange, obtuse or out of left field of a thought you may have, there is always at least one more person with the same idea. And when it comes to a game, since GoW3 is not going to sell 30 million copies, its safe to assume that your not alone in your lack of interest.
I don't really care for God of War. The games did nothing for me when I played them. I also can't stand Kratos. I think I just don't like angry men in my video games.

I've never been so annoyed at a main character within a 5 minute time frame before Kratos came into the picture. It's not even a "persona" thing, his personality just bugs the crap out of me. Top that off with gameplay choices like Quick Time Events being essential and we have a good reason for me to disregard this game from ever hitting my wishlist.

i wouldn't say i have absolutely no excitement toward GoW3, but whatever excitement i had has been slowly diminishing with time... and now it's at a point that I'm not even sure if I'm going to buy it or not.
As much as I love the Gta episodes (and it will probably be a better value, pricewise and content wise) I think that you would be semi foolish not to buy Gow3 (and possibly the gta episodes).
After playing the demo and watching the trailers , I could easily see this being GotY. Even if you don't enjoy Hack-n-Slash, you should still certainly give GoW3 a try. The demo is just extremely fun and completely epic. And that's just one small part of the game that has the excitement found in the entire course of a full game. Everyone who says they're not hyped needs to at least give the demo a try, it'll probably change your opinion.

If you're on a tight budget, GoW3 should be one of the few and first games you do get. I could easily see it being GotY. Or you could rent it.
I've never been interested in God of War, Devil May Cry or any games kinda like that. Although I think I will pick up Bayonetta since I liked the demo.
I loved God of War 2, but i guess there are just more interesting and genre defining games out right now. To be honest, I'm counting the days until Bad Company 2 releases after BioShock 2 left a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Also the Heavy Rain demo has me very interested. And i'm still yet to pick up Mass Effect 2 on either my pc or 360. I can see GOW3 dropping in price relatively quickly, and if not there will be plenty of used copies. It's still an aquired taste and I notice campaign-only games tend to resell in large quantities.
nope, I'm not excited about it either. I'm even less excited after playing the demo. It's just not my thing, I enjoyed Heavenly Sword and the Bayonetta Demo more.
