AMAZING - Resistance secret ending!! What I did was...

I beat superhuman without dying once. To be honest I did die about 5 times, but I turned off the PS3 right away and reloaded my game. Anyway After you do that and after the credits when Hale is standing there with the guys surrounding him, he looks around holds the gernade, then throws it by 2 guys, they blow up then he dives over to the side and shoots the rest of the guys. THen the plane starts to take off and when it is a couple of feet off the ground the shoots the gernade laucher from his gun and shoots it down. Then he says... " I can find my own ride home" It was awesome!

 

I want to show it to everyone so I am thinking about just taping it with my video camera, but the quality wont be that good of course, or how do I record something off my ps3 and upload it on the net??

Ok I have news... after you beat the game on Superhuman the "continue game" is greyed out.  So I just went to "Location selection" and went to the last level on superhuman, then when I beat it without dying it didnt do the secret ending!  I dont know why it didnt do it, but I was standing there with my camera recording and it just had the normal ending.  I guess because I wasnt continuing my game I was just starting there from the location selection.  I cant believe this.  Well if you dont believe me then I guess you can beat it on superhuman by youself, it only takes me about 4 hours to beat the game, so I guess if I feel like stressing myself out again I will try to start a brand new game.  I really dont feel like doing it though, so I am sure someone else out there is good enough to do it, so do it then have your camera ready because you only have one chance to catch it on tape! I can't really say that I believe you.

First off, it is a pretty hard accomplishment to beat Superhuman without dying ONCE.

Secondly, the game's been out since November, and no one else has EVER posted about it on the web.

Third, the "actual" ending to the game has much more significance to the plot and future games, than Hale blowing up the helicopter and going away.

And finally, just like everyone else who manages to "do the impossible", your video camera was conveniently out of batteries at the time.

However, if you could produce some solid evidence, then I would believe you.

If you beat halo on legendary there is a vid of sgt johnson and an elite hugging and then being engulfed in the explosion even though sgt johnson escapes halo on a pelican.  Therefore the cut scene at the end of a game you've beaten on the hardest difficulty setting is allowed to have no relation to the plot.  ANyway the only way to even unlock superhuman would be to beat it normally and see the real ending so it would not eliminate the possibility of a sequel.

Halo doesn't exactly write the rules about beating a game on its hardest setting and having it have a video having nothing to do with the plot of the game.  But I think this guy is blowing smoke up our a$$es with this story.

The point didn't miss me at all...Halo is the only game in *my*  (see the asterisks) recent memory that had such a video after beating a harder difficulty. Most games I've played all had a special ending that had something to do with the story, which would lead me to believe that Halo in your eyes can make it OK to have other games follow suit. I don't agree, and still think it's bogus.

If you say so man, just because YOU cant beat it in 4 hours doesnt mean other people cant.  Ever see the superhuman walkthrough from Beer Baron on Next generation walkthroughs?  He beats it in LESS than 4 hours, it takes me a full 4.  So please I hope I run into you in multiplayer if you think that is unbelievable.

The TC technically didn't do it without dying either.  He just rebooted the PS3 any time he bit the dust.  Anyone who's willing to reset his PS3 everytime he dies from beginning to end deserves a special ending.

Turning of the system when you die is just stupid. The game saves automatically so all that could happen is that you risk to corrupt your data for cutting the power while it saves. Chances are that when you take the last bullet, it's already too late. It's easy to avoid agaisnt the bulleye, since they don't do much damage, but if you miss a jump agaisnt a titan or get meleed in the back, too bad, you have to start from THE BEGINNING.

Anyways, this cannot be true, since the way the game ends will be part of the story in RFOM2, as someone said earlier.

The only "secret" ending there is is when Hale talks about the core in the movie review section. You can't get that from the game itself anyways, so it's more a 'bonus' than a 'secret'.

Just like in game no one knows what ever happen to Hale. In other words anything could had happen to him in the end. Also, even if they make a new Resistance (that they will) it will show what really happen to Hale.

When I saw this post up, I had a feeling it was too good to be true. At midnight, I started playing Resistance Fall Of Man in superhuman mode. I was playing hardcore and drank 23 cans of mountain dew to stay awake. I beat the game without dying (technically I turned off the system when I died so that the system wouldn't save) once. Never before had I accomplished such a maniacal feat. The ending was the same as what I've seen before. He was lying. playstation_wii

You know I dont really care if anyone believes me or not. I know what I saw, I figured I would post my message and everyone tell me that it was old. To the guy that said he beat it without dying I dont know maybe you didnt shut it off quick enough or something, maybe you dont have all the intel or all of the skill points like I do. I dont know.

It is not as easy as me going to location selection and selecting the last level and beating it. It has to be loaded from your continued game. I dont care enough to go through that again, I will say that it is sad that I am that good at that game considering I dont have much other options to play as far as FPS's go. Dont even get me started on wasting 100 hours of my life playing Oblivion. I actually fell asleep in the middle of playing that game.....no really....I woke up with the controller in my hand, drool coming out of my mouth, and my guy standing in the middle of a lake.

Anyway, you can believeme or not, either way its ok with me.

And if there would really be a 'secret' ending, it would be added in the movie viewer once you have seen it. You could only screen capture the movie from there.

If it's not there, I doubt it's even on the disc.

yea u can select the last level, i didnt mean the EVERY LAST BATTLE, where u have to destroy the reactors, but the last stage where u go to reach em and it is possible

I would like to see it, especially since Hale only had a grenade (not a rifle with the grenade launcher) at the end, before they took him. A better explanation of the scene woul dbe good.

You could say how he shoots down the plane that he is in? Does he shoot the front or back?
