No offence, I love PS, PS2, PSP, PS3, XBOX, X360 and so on. But why is it that they always release an improved version after the first console release?! (Because it's improved yes, I'm aware of that :s) But what I mean is:
There's Gameboy & Gameboy pocket, PS & PSone, PS2 & PStwo and now there's PSP & PSP Slim now... Can't they just release the improved one as a first release?! I'm sure this is a excellent way to make money, but this is becoming a trend nowadays and frankly, and I don't believe I'm the only one here, I'm am getting really tired of this. It's just annoying, that's all there is to it.

Hehe, don't forget GameBoy Color, which yes could play new Color games, but was basically an upgrade of sorts as it just added color and nothing much else. You also forgot the DS and DSLite, the Gameboy Advance & Gameboy Advance SP & Gameboy Micro.
The original system versions aren't meant to be Beta or anything though, and the PSP has proved to be a sturdy and quite amazing system in itself, as well as the DS. Technology gets better overtime, so they will improve the system later on. The improved system usually has ideas in it that weren't thought up or were not possible at the time of the initial release because of lack of technology.
