Last weeks update was sweet though, we got a new uncharted trailer plus i got in the warhawk beta which is pretty sweet.

But they should do more to get third parties to put more demos up on the store. Marketplace has the area 51 demo up, I don't see why they can't get it up on ps store to.

any update is better than none. just keep them coming. you're not going to be blown away with EVERY update they EVER do. be serious. that's retarded. there are going to be some that are just not big deals. and then there will be those with Lair and Heavenly Sword demos or Motorstorm mulitplayer or new Resistance maps etc. but don't expect that EVERY thursday.  

Wow, kids who says well who cares about the update it's not important are just fooling themselves.  You most likely are just skipping over the fact that you want good demos, new downloadable games, and content to just make it sound like your content with the ps3's poor network.  I would not mind paying 30,40, maybe 50 a year for the same content as a 360.  The last update is garbage and it's sad to see this happen.  Sony please get the priorities straight with theses developers, we want demos and the more demos, the more likely we are to purchase games.

BTW: want a lair demo and heavenly sword demo plz lol

I can stomach not getting a demo because, as stated earlier, the demos have to be provided by the third party developers unless it's a first party title. What I don't get is why there are more videos of Playstation 3 games at Playstation.Com then there are on the Playstation Network? Those are videos they have and could upload if so willing. That does seem a little silly to me.  However, looking at what went up today, I don't get why folks are complaining as much as they are. If you own Ridge Racer (which I DON'T)  it was Christmas in May for you! I mean, most of the stuff that went up were free add-ons to the game! How cool is that? They didn't have to do that. They could have charged and cut the offering by half too.   So I feel this update was good...maybe it didn't have anything I wanted in it but hey, that's okay, as long as there was an update at all. 

...HEY! There's a video of the new Pixar movie....I saw it like a few months back but that's still cool that it's there in HD, so I do have something to watch afterall.

exactly. they could of charged $20 bucks like Microsoft for the RR7 update. i know people who've been waiting on that. but i guess some people are never happy. you'd have to put up full length demos of Assassins Creed and Haze by June 7th and they'd STILL find something to complain about...

Bro trust me, when the 360 came out, about 6 months since its launch, xblive was no where close. U could go a whole month without a trailer even. It's getting there.

the point is we dont have a great ps store update since 3-4 weels..No demo since Sigma a month ago..And on Xbox 360 we have the dirt demo, a multi plat. game and its not on the ps store!

I would pay for the psn myself to have a service like Xbox live anytime because psn is very bad so far.

The 600$ you paid for was for the hardware. It's worth about 800$, so I doubt any of that price covers the cost of the online. Online is mainly supported by the buyable content...

1st...Xbox Live was no where near this good in it's first couple months. so Sony is already way ahead of where they were when Live first showed up.

2nd...you don't even realize when you're being ripped off you're so blind and bass ackwards. MS is FORCING publishers and developers to charge for stuff that the game makes want to GIVE YOU FOR FREE. it's called profiteering. check it out on dictionary.com (btw they're trying to start even charging PC gamers for Live and start charging PC gamers for things that have been free for years).

3. i paid $600 for the strongest, most comprehensive, most potential/upside having console on the market. for bluray capabilities. for incredible exclusives like Uncharted, Resistance, MGS4 (it's not going to 360...keep dreaming). for FREE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. for a built in harddrive (yeah Xbox Elite has it but developers can't use it cause if they do they'll alienate the majority of Xbox owners who don't have the Elite).

4. I'll bet you your Xbox Live membership fee YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A PS3 and therefore have no idea what you're talking about lol.

have you played Resistance online? it's awesome! what about Madden or Motorstorm online? it's already a good online service. so no they don't give us demos once a week of every PS3 game dropping in the next 6 months but hello...does anyone remember online with the PS2? lol. it's called improvement. patient grasshopper. it's coming.

and they promised it'd always be free. instead of telling Insomniac and EA "you better charge our customers for this downloadable crap! don't give them ANYTHING FOR FREE! NOTHING!" lol.

i'm not a fanboy. i just appreciate free stuff and see the improvements they've made and are making. i'm just a gamer who knows when he's got it good and can see it getting better.
