like every other post on this board or maybe internet forums in general, guy asks a question and gets lame ass excuses for answers. off the top of my head these are future titles based in action roots in 3pp. fallout3 , damnation, prince of persia: prodigy, bayonetta, tomb raider: underworld, sonic unleashed, alone in the dark, dark void, bionic commando, the agency, prototype, infamous, 50cent blood in the sand, afro samurai, darksiders, alpha protocol, ghostbusters, wanted, mafia 2, xblades, dc universe.

Dead Space iss amazing and Infamous when it comes ouy, and Rachet an Clank if you like those kind of games.

No seriously, I personally am an avid shooter fan so of course I'd answer "no" to your question. Last gen (at least, on the PS2 front) everything was RPG so I guess it's just return of karma.
On the subject, I think Fallout 3 pretty much sums it up.
