I would have to vote Einhander, just something about that game was so much fun, and with next gen graphics it would be incredible looking.

There are tons of old games I'd like to see in a new "next gen" look but hard to remember off the top of my head.
• Metal Gear Solid 1 - love to see the new engine used for the old classic
• Super Mario Bros. - since the Wii isn't next gen...I'd like to see it on par with Ratchet & Clank
• Jak and Daxter
• Shadow of the Colossus
I tried to think of games that don't have an official press release like God of War 3 etc.
Not so much remake but a new Legend Of Dragoon!f50p90
Good call, i loved the legend of dragoon(s) on the saturn.
Shame i got rid of that system, along with my games.
Crash Bandicoot.
Don't know why everyones so into FFVII, it wasn't that good.

If it was a proper Naughty Dog Crash Bandicoot then that's my choise as well! In my opinion Sony should have lept on Naughty Dog years ago to keep Crash as an exclusive and as a mascot.
With the exception of ff7 i would much rather see sequal's such as
Onimusha
legend of legaia
dark cloud
skies of arcadia
chaos legion
and black..which i did hear a rumor they may be making:)
Crash Bandicoot.

agreed. It was awesome for 1996-97. But then FF8 came out and it had a better story and game play. Then FF10 came out and it was even better in gameplay and story. People just can't move on.

Agreed on the fact that games evolve. FFVIII is a terrible example of this though. It only evolved graphics. The story wanders too much and the gameplay is a huge setback from what FFVI and FFVII did. Worse combat system in any FF to date.
Metal Gear Solid
Resident Evil 2
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy VI
Chrono Trigger
C-Himura
Good call on FFVI. It's a great game!.
Goldeneye.
And for PSN, Burgertime... and a downloadable Lumines game and a Bomberman w online MP would be awesome.
Parasite Eve and Resident Evilcrshnbrn
Oh yeah, i forgot about parasite eve, awesome game. Square has made so many awesome games that they have not made sequels to, they should really think about making some :P

Parasite Eve has a sequel. And Parasite Eve: The Third Birthday is currently in development... for mobile phones:cry:
Chrono Trigger. Or Metal Gear 1 and 2 (Not solid for you people who thing im talking about MGS)avataraang1Completely agree especially with Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Add VI, Driver(PSX), and Tiny Tank to that as well.
FF8 was a good game but FF7 was better in storyline or gameplay imo. FF8 storyline wasn't consistent with single enemy. First your trying to kill another garden's soldiers then a sorcerer then a different sorcerer then a space sorcerer then some aliens then future sorcerer i mean it was just not consistent. The gameplay was so annoying in that it discourages you to use magic because it'll lower your attributes. That and you don't really get the full jist of things until your second play around. But this is my opinion and that is yours so i respect it.agreed. It was awesome for 1996-97. But then FF8 came out and it had a better story and game play. Remakes suck ALWAYS! Sequels actually have a chance to be good, though.
A couple of days ago, I would have wanted an Earthworm Jim sequel, but that's actually going to happen now. So I'd like to see a new Vigilante 8 - not the remake, an actual new game
FF 7 had a better villain, but that's about it. Nobody in that game has any personality, that's where 8, 9, and 10 beat it

Have you ever played Resident Evil Remake? That is a much better game than the original.
And if you really think Zell, Quistis, Irvine, Selphie, Kiros and Ward had deep personalities, its obvious you can't see more than one dimention:roll: Only developed characters in that game where Squall, Rinoa and Laguna. Cloud surpasses Rinoa and Laguna and rivals Squall. The rest of the FFVII party is much more developed than FFVIII's party.
Metal Gear
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
Metal Gear Solid: Integral
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistance
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
(All in one collection lol :P)

Yeah, I played both Resident Evils and they're basically the same game. One of them looks better, with some little new things here and there, but it wasn't a big deal to me. It's not like it sucked, but it seemed pretty pointless. Why not just make a new one?
I dunno what a dimenTion is (Dude, don't use the condescending-eye-rolling-smiley right after you misspell something!), but FF 7's characters weren't all that. They didn't give Cloud a real personality. He's depressed, he's not depressed, he's an a-hole, he's cool with everybody...pick one and roll with it for god's sake. They did give him crazy hair and a big sword, though. Everyone in FF 7 has a defining trait like that - Sephiroth has a huge sword, Tifa has HUGE boobs, Barret is Mr. T, Cid cusses constantly, Vincent looks like a vampire. Everyone has something to draw your attention to, and away from their flat personalities. And when they tried to give them any depth, they came off like caricatures. I remember this one part where Barret meets Shinra, this guy he's supposed to hate more than anything, and he starts jumping up and down and shaking his fists in the air.
FF 8's characters weren't amazing or anything, but they acted more like real people, which is pretty rare for a video game. Same with 9 and 10
But back on the topic, a new Streets of Rage could be really good. Back in the day, beating up a bunch of huge thugs with a little guy on rollerblades was so much fun.
I know you guys all love Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Metal Gear Solid, but I'm gonna come outta nowhere and say Ratchet & Clank. Although the series is realtively new, I reckon the futuristic levels would look sssooooooo good on the PS3. Just imagine the original's Metropolis, or the second's Endako or Smolg. I think it'd look just fantastic.insomniac_dog
i dont get why you would remake ratchet and clank when the series is STILL continuing to be maid on the ps3
Crash Bandicoot.
