Anybody buying PROTOTYPE?

I dunno, I kinda feel like I have my hands full with the games I already have. I mean, it looks badass but there are so many games out right now.

I feel like I played this game already when I played Infamous. I know it's goin to be waaay more violent and a totally different story set in it's own world, but I feel kinda burned out on the whole superpower freeworld thing after beating Infamous as a Hero and a Villian.

Since I really enjoyed InFamous I decided to pre-order Prototype as well. I've watched some gameplay and although the graphics seem pretty mediocre, the gameplay looks really fun and brutal. I'm curious on how the story will turn out as well.

Yeah, thats what I thought. I was HYPED about this game for a long time but I dunno what happened, now I'm just kinda meh about it. I just kinda lost interest with the invincible superpowered man idea I guess...

The graphics are rad and the gameplay looks fun, but I'm gonna have to wait for some reviews on this one...

Same, I really hope the gameplay makes up and overlooks the visuals :)

And yes, I am buying this day 1. I have been waiting a very long time for this, since previous release dates were pushed back because of problems.

I'm waiting for more reviews... i like how Alex is 10x more powerful than Cole...

physics of prototype look better than infamous... the facial expression of infamous is awful, AWFUL!! and i mean it

and i would love to smash a tank with my body than throw sticky grenades or lightning at it XP

I'm definitely getting it but it's not high on my list.

I don't know... In open-world games I like the peace and serenity of things at times, going at my own pace... And it looks look Prototype won't give me that... It looks cool, but I'm not that interested in the game. I guess I'll check out some early reviews and videos to see if I like it more, but it just doesn't look like Prototype is worth my hard-earned $60 bucks.

I`m not quite sure actually. I will look at the reviews and what people think about the game. It definetly looks awesome, so yeah maybe

The only similarities I see between the two are; they are sandboxes, you have super powers. Other than that they are completely different. Good Luck finding any game that shares less than 2 aspects with another popular game.

i have been very interested in this game for a long time but i will have to wait for reviews hopefully stellar reviews so then i will get this game. if not good reviews i will have to pass as there are too many good games coming out this fall

Infamous truly satisfied me. Prototype will have to have stellar reviews for me to consider getting it. I will admit, graphics are important to me (not the only thing I look for, gameplay still has to be solid, but poor graphics really do turn me off) and Prototype looks kind of weak. Infamous looks great, plays great, and has an awesome story. Unless Prototype tops that, I can't see myself buying it day one for full price.beekayjay

WOW. Infamous really put a dent in alot of people picking this one up on day one. Killer Marketing move by Sony releasing Infamous 2 weeks earlier.

I bet more people will buy it for XBOX than PS3, by the sound of things in this thread...

I bought Infamous and its great. Not fantastic but great. For me prototype looks more apealing and i'm am going to get it on day 1 :)

There was just nothing to do in InFamous after you completed it.

I just bought inFAMOUS. I'll pick up Prototype whenever I have enough money. :)
