Anybody still getting madden 09

Well after playing the demo im starting to have second thoughts. If its anything different from the demo i still might consider it,

Ill just wait until some reviews comes in first. :).

Positives of getting madden 09- Chad Johnson & its pretty challenging with the iq thing , also alot more other features.

Negatives of getting the game- Glitches & too many drop passes

Should one person justify whether or not i should fork over 60 dollars :P

i think it looks amazing and the player movements/animations are spectacular. its shapin up to be the best madden yet

Finally! Someone agrees with me.

I am getting this game day one .. the demo is fun as hell ..

I don't see any glaring issues with it .. everyone talks about dropped passes? I've dropped like 15 catches in like 50 games .. that's pretty good .. and some are just over thrown. So that doesn't bother me ..

I'm really looking forward to August 12th ..

DTA - Don't Trust Anyone .. honestly man don't even worry about reviews .. they fluctuate so much you can't trust someone elses opinion .. rent the game and then make your decision ..

Because really you need a couple days to really give yourself the feel of the game.

The price is good for 5 days .. but yea renting is a rip-off but also a good way not to waste 70 bucks on a game you don't want .. 11 dollars is much better than 70.

I don't have that problem because my friends brother works at Blockbuster so I get all my rents for free ..

Its not that i dont like sports games its just that i thought madden 09 did live up to my expectations, ima do what the above poster stated buy a used nfl madden 09 then try to return in the next 7 days that way i dont lose any money and with mercenaries 2 right around the corner i might as well wait for that :D

Yep I already rserved special edition madden. Gonan pick it up day one.

I havent played madden online ever and have been gettin it for years. I am really looking forward to doing that.

Also, i am lloking forward to playing head coach, ahvent doen that. I hear the last one was terrible, but I will give it a shot.

Yes finally when it rains your jerseys get extremely muddy .. only problem is both teams get so dirty it's hard sometimes to tell who your own team is .. and also they got the dirty jerseys and crap right but only thing that is wrong with it is they didn't do anything to the field .. so you're muddy but theres no mud on the field to be found.

But least our jerseys get dirty ..

If Madden 09 interception rate lower than 08 then i might give it a rent. I swear i'd get like 20-30 interceptions in 1 game. FF6fan

From what I've got from other sites there aren't as many INT's ..

I only play as the MLB .. and usually get roughly 17 tackles, a forced fumble and an INT with him per game. The rest of my team does what they have to.
