Anyone disappointed with Far Cry 2?

You know you don't always have to kill everyone. Most of the time you only have to kill one person or you have to blow up something. Also you're not really forced to play the game in a certain way(Rambo, sniping etc.) You can sneak into an enemy base if you want to, you can do some sniping if you want to, it's all up to you.

I like the occasional "brush fire" started by my flamethrower causing ammo stores to pop off bullets in every which direction killing guys as they run in fear. :lol:

I like sneaking in the enemy base doing whatever objective needs to be done and then starting a fire or placing a bomb. I sneak out of the base, set off the bomb and watch the display. Or if I started a fire, watch it burn everything to a crisp. Like yours, this is one that makes the enemies go "WTF?!":P

to be honest MOST people that dislike this game have totally mis-understood it.

Putting most in capitals still doesn't justify this comment ..

I liked it. The biggest problems were the traveling, the random attacks from people who seemingly have no reason to attack you, and SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

The ending where your character just dies and you don't get to go back to collect all the diamonds and buy all the guns

Just writing to say that i was overall disappointed with Ubisoft's Far Cry 2 ,

My main problem was there was just WAY too much travelling to do and when your gun jams in the middle of a firefight that can get very annoying.

I don't mean to nag or put anyone off it's just that i got my hopes up for this game and for me it failed to deliver.

well it's trying to be realistic don't pick up the enemys guns :)

My only problem is that guard posts respawn only a couple minutes after you killed everyone

It annoyed me at first and I was dissapointed. But the more I played it, the better it got. Guns jamming is really annoying...but when you actually buy guns you eliminate that problem. And there are buses that totally eliminate travelling....but the whole point of the game is exploring.

thats exactly how i felt, now im totally loving this game
