Anyone else enjoying the PS3 more so then you did the PS2?

No contest, PS2 is way better than PS3 in terms of games. You ppl are in denial and u know this gen sucks compared to previous era.PSP107

If you compare 2000 to 2003, the PS2 had more games then PS3. In the first year alone for PS2 there were 200 or so games for the system. In year 1 for PS3 there was barely 100 if that. The xbox had like 500 games in 3 years or something like that. The 360 doesn't have that many and it's been out 4 years almost. The only system that you can say had more games this generation isNintendo and about 60% of the games are almost worthless.

There are less games in this generation. It's a fact. You had sequel after sequel last gen withall the ratchet's sly coopers, jaks, GTA's Tony Hawks, You had a bunch of trilogies like Prince of Persia, Devil May Cry, Mortal Kombat Kessen. You had all those dynasty Warriors games and all the other hack n slash games trying to be dynastywarriors.

I hate that people think the PS3 needs to have the library the PS2 had in order to be great. No system will ever be like PS2. The wii could reach the number of games in quantity maybe but not in quality. 90% of everything was on PS2 last generation. The only things that weren't on PS2 were theNintendo first party games and PC portedgames along with Ninja Gaiden. Everything else the PS2 had.

So far I enjoyed PS2 than PS3.

I certainly did, with the PS2's lack of a unified online service and such

-_- yeah i mean definitely i mean how do you let a game system that lived for almost 10 years and had all that time to have games come out for it beat a game system thats barely been out for 3 years???? i hate when people say that last gen had more games...ugh....yeah!!! ten years will do that for you....lets wait to compare gens when both of the gens are over...then compare.....k????

i enjoy my ps3 alot, i dont enjoy the ps2 i dont know why i have like 20 games for it and they are all the top ones ,i try my best to have fun with bu...but i cant "cry" "cry" FORGIVE ME PLEASE "cry'' :cry:

i agree.dont get me wrong, ps2 was my alltime favorite system but cod allowed me to game with my homies more than i did with the ps2. plus im more immersed in games now which rarely happened in previous generationsjsmoke03

Yeah, lol.... anyway, I still think PS2 is the best ever.

Sony may not ever achieve PS2 type sales for the PS3 but they definitely achieved something more important to gamers, a much more fun system :D I loved my PS2, it was an awesome console but in terms of games I have to say PS3 is definitely where it's at. Sure their are some games missing from the PS3 library but give it a year and PS3 will have the most complete library full of amazing titles. I just need two more titles to forget about the PS2 :P Soon when GOW3 and Last Guardian release there will no longer be a hole in my library :D Not to mention this fall there are sooo many epic games.

What I'm saying is that PS3 is full of surprises, constantly delivering while I felt there were times with the PS2 when it just felt boring, PS2 got a lot more epic titles during the latter half of last gen. GOW is my fav franchise and it was released close to the end of PS2's lifespan, by which I mean a year before the release of PS3. Sony are definitely working for the gamers this gen, a reliable system, an active system since it's always updating and getting better plus with a lot more 1st party support, just how I like :)
