Was just wondeing i personally think the game looks awesome and i preordered the collectors edition since it has that blu ray movie on it, traded in some xbox games so got it just on trade value since they had a deal going on with trade ins. but anyone else feel the same way?
Yeah the game looks and plays amazing. I've been looking at it for months and i am also going to get the collectors edition. Hard boiled is a classic action movie, I can't wait to see it on blu ray.
Two things will determine if I'll buy the game or not. If it has online multiplayer and has a smooth framerate, I'm d.e.f.i.n.i.t.e.l.y. bringing this one home! But not the Collector's Edition since I already have have Hard Boiled on DVD.

Well...I know I want Hard Boiled in HD. It all depends on whether or not the movie will be released in stand-alone form in conjunction with the game or not. If the game gets good reviews and no one complains about the quaility of the movie then I will get the collectors edition. If the game gets okay reviews and the movie is not available on its own then I will get the coll ed. If the game gets horrible reviews then I won't get it at all even if the movie is not available seperately. Does anyone know if the movie will play on any blu-ray player or if it will only play on the PS3?

It is reported the movie will be included in the same blu-ray disc as the game.
Though no reports that it will work on other BR players. I'll go and search the internet for you.
Edit: Found no article stating that it would work on other BR players, but it should.
hells yeah! i love John Woo's movies. And i can't wait to take control his slow motion and Berrettas :P It'd be pretty cool if there was some sort of mexican stand off minigame like the cutscenes in RE4
i may get it. depends on if it comes out good or not. i need to see the reviews before i buy a game so i can see the pros and cons and decide it its good enough to get.

Personally, I don't think the game looks awesome, the animation is a bit stiff. BUT, hey it's John Wu and Chao-yang-fat (sorry about the spelling here, I can't spell their non-chinese names)! Who doesn't love this pair? So I'm getting it.
The moment I saw just a little bit of gameplay, I gagged and thought, "Max Payne, anyone?" Seriously, it's a carbon copy just with prettier visuals and more destructable enviorments (that's standard for a next-gen title). It'll probably have a crappy story too.
