I think GTA 4 will be average, i mean they have to fit the game onto a 9gb disc so it will pretty much be just like GTA San An but with better graphics. I mean considering the san an filled upa 9gb dvd to make the game really great it would need more space, unless there going to make it with 2 or 3 discs for the 360.
Well you know... its all just up to your preference. I can say I really enjoy GTA. I played GTA 1 back in the day with the top down view, then GTA3 came out and knocked my socks off. I have to admit though... by the time I was finished destroying GTA3, I wasnt really in the mood for more... which is unfortunate because now theres Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, and Vice City Stories... lol. I played GTA: Vice City, and beat it but it wasnt as great of an experience as GTA3 was originally, because its all basically the same stuff... just different setting, and a few more things to do. Having said that though, I have faith in Rockstar that they will do something special with GTA:4. They know how much anticipation is surrounding it, and after several iterations of their GTA3 foundation I think its safe to say they've learned a thing or two.

Surely it won't be GTA 3 was a fictional NY and Liberty City Stories which used the same city was aswell obviously. The clue is in the title "Liberty City" LC=Statue of Liberty=NY. I heard it's going to a European setting but as I've said in so many posts before I hope it isn't it just won't be the same. And for the record I love the GTA series and strongly feel they have improved with each incarnation.

Yes there is. It gives you the option, any game that gives you the option to do what you want can be addictive. (since we cannot legally go around running peeps over and shooting them in the USA or any civilized country) yea, but in every GTA game, after you got 5 stars doing the same crap more than like 10 times, it was boring and predictable. ive been through GTA1 to vice city, and i can tell you, they havent changed much. snore fest comes to mind. unless they come up with something new and fun to do in GTA4, im done with the series, and it can die for all i care. i feel the same for Halo, which was a great game, then 2 was kinda crappy, but ok, and im thinking 3 is going to be watered down garbage. some developers never learn when something is tired and time to think up a new game(im talking to you too mario bros and metroid, i loved you both on NES, and on SNES, but after that, you started to suck)
How can you say that from GTA1 to Vice city they haven't changed much??????? GTA1 alone VS Vice City are like 2 completly different games, are you sure youv'e played them? Your comment would have had some credability if you'd said that from GTA3 to GTA SA hadn't changed much. I would've disagreed but I would understand what you where trying to say. Your comment would suggest that Virtua Tennis 3 is no different to the original "Pong" games of the 70's!!!!
Im really looking forward to GTA:4. I loved the previous GTA games. They combined so much into a single game, guns, cars, girls, money, and the openended enviroments made them really fun. I just cant wait to see what they can do on a new gen console with the GTA series.
im not TOO hyped about it i was never too into the GTA games i just think theyre fun is all i like going around stealing cars, shooting people, fighting cops not really big on the story mode though however, i am looking forward to seeing how the graphics will look on this next gen version its going to be very weird to not have a crappy looking GTA
