I've had two PSP games now where the back of the plastic casing (the side with the picture, not the disc on it) has come away, in that you can push it inwards a bit, and then the PSP can't read the disc.  Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know of a way to fix it?

Yeah that happened to my Twisted Metal: Head-On and MGS: PO and they can't be read because the disc spins around too fast. I took the whole casing off of MGS in the hopes that I could like glue it back together and the disc would be held in properly and move at the right speed, I haven't gotten it glued yet but it doesn't seem like it will work. I think the casing became loose because of the case I put them in, I have a hard case that holds the psp and 4 games and I think even though it's hard, the games were still crammed in there too tight. I have a separate UMD case and those ones are fine. I've accepted the fact that Im just going to have to buy the games again, it really sucks, if anyone has had this problem and was able to fix it--Please help us out.

Yeah it's annoying...I do treat the games well, I think I might have a similar storage problem, I keep them in a UMD wallet which could be causing it when it's full of games...of course the last one I had I took back to the shop and it worked fine in their PSP, typical :P Might have to just start keeping them in their original boxes again

I got a used game today that had the same problem, only it wasn't doing the disc read error (yet). Thanks for the heads up! :D I was debating on whether or not to return it, now I think that answer's clear since I only have 7 days to return it. I don't want it to have a disc read error on the 8th day! :P

You can't really use tape to fix it because the plastic goes inwards not outwards...I wonder if it might be worth putting on as a preventative measure though because it only ever seems to happen at the top.
