I think they will make it free to play.

It's already been confirmed that they're doing a 30 day pay period, and unlike FFXI, it won't be done through a subscription to Play Online.

Oh, I must have missed that update. Thanks for filling me in.

I'm actually happy that the game will be more focused on single play now. It was a pain to find a good party and that was the only reaaonable way to level up. I'm hoping it'll be much easier and faster to level up now. Level grinding and finding parties really made the game kind of not fun for me after awhile. I couldn't really do any cool stuff since I was always so low level.

I've been playing Final Fantasy XI for about 5 years now, on and off.

When I saw the trailer for this game, I was pretty excited.

I can't wait to see the new graphics, jobs, and hopefully new races to be able to choose from.

I'm also hoping for a very nice storyline that can keep me interested.

Anyone else looking forward to this MMORPG ?
