im starting to wonder if Roland isnt part of M$, trying to justify that a business that has a market share is always the best, while ignoring the obvious problems that ALWAYS occur from a monopoly. face it, M$ had a good idea, and they got sloppy from no competition. the only reason any company puts out nice stuff is because of competition, since M$ is in everything, why make it any better? they could crap out the same OS year after year with the same crap just some new aesthetics, and charge $300 everytime and still sell it. oil companies are a monopoly, they sell tons of it, but you could buy a diesel and make biodiesel for a fraction of the price of what the oil companies charge you. biodisel is cleaner, makes more power, easier on engines, and has a delightful aroma of french fries. we could easily swap over to hydrogen power, either by combustion, or hydrogen fuel cell, making 4-5 times more efficient power than any internal combustion engine we have (turbine being the best at the moment, but only at full throttle, so not an option for automobiles) hydrogen is easy to make, no reason that the money from the oil industry couldnt be swapped over to hydrogen instead, hydrogen has almost no emissions. so even when faced with the threat of your entire planet's ecosystem being destroyed, we still wont make a change from a monopoly, how do you expect it to happen with a OS?
One thing at a time! Exit what you're doing and return to the crossbar!!!"

You might want to rethink that statement after you look at the bloated crapware that is Vista. 4GB of RAM to run smoothly with Aero and all the goodies. 2GB just to run Vista without Aero. You can install Linux on the PS3 with it's 256MB of RAM and get it to use XWindows and surf the net. Seriously, you're talking out your keister on this one..
