anyone remember the boomerang controller?

you know that one from the origional ps3 demo's and previews with the longer hand grips. had more of a curve to it..

well basically sunflex and square enix are proud to present the ff14 boomerang controller:

okay so its not the EXACT same controller but it is alot closer to the origional controller design. those who were wanting one can now have one.. sort of.

Yes, and I loved it. Loved the first design for the PS3 and I was really looking forward to it, the color was amazing too. Too bad they changed it

i have a generic USB ps2 controller shaped that way. tis really not very good.

Back on subject. I'm also glad they dropped the idea. If they had the dualshock 3 and the boomerang controller (didn't they say they based it off the batarang?) it would be nice for a choice, but I think I would stick with the dualshock, or get both and give the boomerang one to my friend to make it easier for me to slay him in Marvel vs. Capcom 2

thats is exactly the same one i have, except it says PRO GAMER on that circle part up the top. came with PS2 component cables for $3 from Target here in australia. random special i found when i checked the price (down from $20)

It was released that way for the PS1. My favorite controller by far, it fit my big hands perfectly. The fact that the PS3 wasn't released with the silver boomerang, was the exact reason I didn't buy it at launch.

It's too bad they didn't stick with the boomerang design. I thought it was unique and different. But the DS is still the best, as well.

That thing looked like seriously the worst controller design ever.
