Apple & Sony? A possible wining combo.

There really could be servally reasons why I think Sony & Apple schould hook up:

1. They both belive in giving everything everyone will need in one device, without add ons. (I-Phone , PS3)
2. They both would like to cut into M$ earning by offering a alternative.
3. Apple can easily fit in with the PS3 with the idea of Apple OS for the PS3.

Anybody elses see's this as a good idea?

I don't think so. Not a great financial fit considering major corporations want to get the majority of all profits that they offer and a ps3 apple whatever combo wouldn't be something that would make any sense.

Apple and Sony could work only if we lived in some fantasy land where they didn't compete with each other in the music industry. Hell, iPods don't even work on PS3s - if that ever changes, maybe there will be a chance. iTunes service on PS3s could possibly be a good investment for Apple, but I don't think they have the grounds to work on a fair and realistic deal.

I hate Apple... it's just a giant corporation that suckers people into thinking that they're not as bad as their competitors (bigger corporations) because they don't wear ties. Their products are inferior across the board... and I used to be a graphic designer, so don't even hand me that one.

I'd rather see Sony team up with any number of other companies.

bad idea i luv sony and apple is just a horrid company they basically have a monopoly with the OS and hardware you can' fix your apple products without them, plus leopard is almost as bad as vista. they got greedy and they have been going down hill. clarkportmanken

Bill Gates only has 50 billion dollars. Big Companies like Sony, Apple etc are worth much more than 50 billion dollars.
