Are People Awful At Killzone 2?

Ive been playing killzone 2 online for a few weeks and I am not verry good at 1st person shooting games online,

infact i wasnt going to play the online becuase i thought i would get "owned" (god i hate that word)

But anyways i keep getting like 30 some kills and im always in 1st second or third:S

are people not that good at killzone 2?

or am i just good and didnt know it

Yeah, thats pretty impressive, although, killzone 3 isn't a hard game to master, but still good nontheless.

It depends. Unlike other games like COD4, your kills really don't matter too much unless it's body count. Someone can have the most kills but your team can still get owned. I do better in Killzone 2 then i do in COD4.

I still suck at close encounters, when i run past someone, we both turn, and its just blind fire and spinning haha, thats the only time the controls become a issue for me. Otherwise, only now, am i appreciating this game much more. Add my psn if you wanna play some time!

i have to agree some people arent great at kz2 but every game has that. with the new controls the game is amazing. muller39 is my psn

it depends since killzone 2 online is kinda leveled out u know if it was like halo where theres no balence with players then yea dude it would be hard lol

that happened to me to.. I waited until i beated the campaign 2 times 'cause I thought I would get destroyed but when I started playing Im usually in the top 3 - 5 of the matches but it is true that because of the type of matches aviable individual skill doest really matter that much.. many times Ive been the #1 in kills of my team, sometimes killing way more than the second place, and still we get severly beated (like 5 - 2 or so) ... But I think this is good cause it really stresses the importance of being a team player and it suits well the war atmosphere...

haha i suck at kz2 but i still have a lot of fun playing it

COD 4 AND KILL ZONE 2 ARE ALMOST THE SAME

I'm not very good at it. On some levels I swear, I die only from random grenades thrown.

If true that is impressive since every match is just grenade launching spamfests.

That's cool. Tons of people seem to like it. Just between the grenade spamming and sluggish controls, I couldn't really justify keeping it especially when probably have too many FPS games on the shelf already.

Well they enhanced the controls ALOT with the new patch giving more of a feeling of COD I guess (never played COD or want to). My only problem with it is the Rocket Launcher and the boost skill of the Assult especially in pistols only matches. Just insane. However the game is constantly growing and getting better. Coming soon they are releasing 2 more maps but these maps are from KZ1 on the ISA home planet. CANT WAIT!!!!

this game would be harder if people played more tactical

when you play bodycount in radec academy they put a spawning granade in the enemy base.

Considering how people want the controls to be like COD4, I would say yes.

Aslong as you keep your gun fully loaded and your head down it's not that hard. There are some people that really suck at it though.

Ive had the game since release and im crap at it still so yeah some players are just awfull :)

A couple of people who I played Resistance & CoD4 online with that royaly sucked at those games are great KZ2 players. I'm thinking it has to do with the sluggish controls being benneficial to those players who would have a tendancy to swing their gun past the opponenant in most FPS's

my transition from cod4 and kz2 is rough...i still haven't constitently gotten up the ranks...i get 1st, then i go back to 5th or 9th....its frustrating right now but its coo...good job on your endeavors...
