[QUOTE="Nocturnal_Speed"] 1.) B/C is probably one of the greatest things the Ps3 had to offer and is my pride and joy. I love classic PsX games ala FF, plus the ever growing Ps2 collection is massive with tons of gems scattered through out. With the features as: Full Screen / Smoother Frames completely changes the game experience on either the PsX or Ps2 to amazing heights. It really makes a huge difference and brings back some sweet moments that are even better. (If I didn't have it, I would probably cry...)
2.) The Blu-Ray player is the second best thing this machine/multimedia player has too offer. Blu-ray won the war and is now the corner stone of the Sony PlayStation 3. Every game and movie that contains BD's are more durable and has the ability to contain more content on a single disc, which is impressive and the fact it's all in HD. I love watching Blu-Ray HD movies because im a movie whore...ok that was kind of weird, but I plan on having a huge collection of movies to watch in HD as well as having a system that supports games ala PlayStation 3. (The ceiling is high for Sony and with the Blu disc the future is bright)
3.) The system is not only looks great, but it also has some specs that help it significantly. The Built in Wi-Fi is excellent and wire free. I don't know if that matters to anyone else, but my room doesn't contain wall plug in, so it picks up the signal from the computer room. USB ports were genius; which charges the batteries and also allows you too plug in other accessories though it; such as, PSP.
Online is free and thats a big plus for me. I couldn't see anyone complaining about that I would hope. Why pay for something thats free right?? The online play is pretty sweet (even though im not a huge online person, but some what casual I would say). The Playstation Store is cool with lots of content as in Play Demo's and additional game add-ons. Blu-Ray and Game trailers are a plus and easy to watch. Other then that I sometimes use the Internet, but I would much rather use the PC for that of course.
The new updates are a pleasent surprise sometimes and continous to add other content. Trophies were sweet and in-game messaging was awesome; which made it easier I would assume.
4.) I really like the exclusives that the Ps3 are going to offer in the upcoming months. Resistance was great and R2 should be even better. Killzone 2 looks promising and LBP is looking pretty unique. I met a lot of friends that play SOCOM (which Ive never played, but are really intrested in joining me into there clan once it's release, so that sounds like fun). Uncharted was a pretty sweet game and a even better looking one at that. Folklore looked good, plus I played the review and plan on playing it soon or a later, but havn't since it's not on my "must have" list, but the future looks promising for that franchise. Grand Turismo is probably the best Racing game ever made and have been with that series since the first, so that a Huge plus. And enough is said about Metal Gear Solid 4... Just look at my review for more info.
5.) The Music and Pictures are a plus. Remote-Play is the second greatest content the Ps3 has to offer, which is like having a Multimedia console and Handheld on the go and fly, while STILL! playing Ps1/Ps2 games on it. It's pretty awesome and comes in handy quite nicely.
I'm a casual gamer I would say and it fits me extremely well. I don't have much complaints, because it's my main source when I get home from work or school; which allows me to just kick back and play games, listen to music, watch a Blu-ray movie on my Big screen or just soon to kick back on HOME.
