I am getting it for sure. I can see why the camera has issues, and it was dumb of them to take out the blood. But the game still looks brutal and impressive. I think the 1st Sigma had the best graphics when it was released.
well, I bought NGS1 when I first bought my MGS4 PS3 bundle. It took me until yesterday to finally beat it. It wasn't because of difficulty, because I handled it just fine, but the game was SO boring. There's maybe 4 cool bosses in the entire game, and there's really nothing that entertaining until chapter 14. The ending of the game was a lot more solid that I was expecting.
Now about NGS2, my buddies own 360s, and I've watched them play NG2 and it looks twice as good as the first! The mobs actually looked insane, and the boss fights looke really hard. I'm definitely picking up NGS2 with the intention that it's going to blow #1 away.
Does anyone know if NGS2 is harder than 1? because that would excited me even more.
First off, I am SUPER disappointed they took out the blood. The geysers that sprayed from the defeated enemies neckholes was a big selling point for me. I love the NG series but it is never priority for me. I got the last one for $20 before they even started doing the greatest hits for the PS3. I'll get it. But there is definitly no rush.
in the sords of stone cold steve austin oh hell yeah i played the demo and was blown away usually i don't judge others gaming choices but if you don't buy this because of the blood or lack there of you crazy the killing animations are off the chain the only complaint i have about the demo is that its too easy after getting my brains beat out on ngs1 ninja master difficulty i was looking for this one to be even harder

I played ninja gaiden 2 on 360 and this PS3 one i completed on normal after about 2 deaths maybe 3 then i went on hard then i died 4 times and now i'm on master ninja and i haven't even completed it yet its crazy, Guys with machine guns then they slash you get to close and they commit suicide instantly almost. Really a hardcore game.
Ill say this. I already had this game for the Xbox 360 before I got rid of it and got my ps3. Ive played through the game and got all the achievements..Normally I would be discouraged to get this game again for another system and play it other than Bioshock. But from the look of the demo and the new sub boss fights and new characters it looks like the game is a vast improvement over an already great game. Even the graphics look better in sigma 2. I can see Hyabusas mouth moving behind his mask during the cut scenes and I dont think I ever could see that on the xbox version. I think it will be a definite get even though the game is hard as hell.

It's a revised version of Ninja Gaiden 2 from the Xbox 360.
I could understand people complaining about blood but it doesn't break or make a game. On the other hand, if you have already played NG2 on Xbox 360, then you may feel like it's been downgraded, but for everyone else who has never played NG2, then it's a different story. You never experienced the "blood" to begin with. But honestly, it's like taking candy away from a 10 year old... cry some more.

I haven't played the original Ninja Gaiden Sigma but it seems quite challenging and fun. I like that, I don't believe I have much money left since I pre-paid for Demon's Soul and Uncharted 2 already.

Well most of us have seen vidoes of gameplay from the original NG2, so we have that for comparison. I think it's fair enough if someone wants to boycott a censored version of the game.
No. I never liked Ninja Gaiden (except the NES game). Gameplay of Ninja Gaiden is not my type and it's weird for me that you're a ninja and you can't do stealth moves/kills.

Honestly its really not that bad. I played the Japanese demo last week (I would assume the US and EU got the same demo) and it was a blast. The lack of blood didn't change anything for me. Would I prefer more blood? Of course, but does it change anything at all about the game and do I really care? Not one bit. Well, I played the demo yesterday and I have to say it's not that bad. Although there's a guy in one of the cutscenes that takes a chinese star to the face and there isn't a drop of blood. It even shows it up close. Despite the lack of blood the demo was enjoyable and I didn't want it to end. Like some of the others I'll probably wait a bit to pick this up.
purple streamers instead of blood? No thanks. sure the gameplay will be fun and all but the fact that they took the blood out to lower the games rating in the pacific parts of the world is a joke. Complete sell out by TN if you ask me.

...but NGS2 is def at the top of my xmas list. I played the demo and was blown away at the visuals. definitely a graphical showcase, if you're looking to show off the visuals of the PS3.
Tried the demo, went ahead and attempted the hardest setting, and beat it (I never died and I never played a NG game before).
How is my performance (Path of the Warrior) as a first attempt?
I felt like I kept getting hit by random off-screen shurikens, projectiles and enemy lunges. This game's AI is incredibly aggressive o.O. And it seems like my counter block (Holding L1) feels laggy while fighting : I have to literally drop my onslaught of slashes to block properly, is that normal?
Game feels great though, and incredibly fluid in motion and framerate (albeit during those ninjutsu spells, it lags a bit).

Ehh, probably not. If they put the blood back in it, I will... but as it stands it just doesn't feel right to me and I feel like I'm supporting stupid design decisions by purchasing it.
Hey BPOOLE96 this is a forum, TC asked a question bad fur replied. You not replying to badfur would have been "just fine" you hypocrite. He has as much right as you to rant on the these forums. 2891 posts, you should know better. And I agree with badfur, the next Gaiden will have a finger nail painting mini game! And have a speacial move were you can write in your journal and EPIC BOSS battles were you paint each others toenails. weaksauce, put the blood in and give US the gamers the choice to turn it on or off!
