I'd rather have it on disc.

One of the best games of the last-gen and the last truly scary RE game. I'm really looking foward to the HD version:)
lol, I hope you're being sarcastic. RE4 is a shooter, there's nothing of survivor horror in there. RE4 that start destroying the series and I'm not sure if RE will ever be the same because of it. It was a great game, but it wasn't RE game, they should have made a new IP instead of labeling RE4.
Now the series is out of control, I mean, if we take the first game (RE1) and compare to the last (RE5), what do they have in common? Besides Chris, Jill, Wesker and the title, nothing else. From the settings to the enemies, from the gameplay to the music, from the puzzles to the genre, everything has changed. That last bit is the thing that bug me the most, they changed the game genre and people say that's "okay".
Imagine if for the next Gran Turismo game they abandon the drive sims and make a game like GTA? I'm pretty sure the reviews would crush that game for being something that isn't suppose be, but that somehow didn't happen on RE4, on the contrary, it got piles of GOTY awards because of the gameplay, they didn't care about the story and the genre being shaft, as long as the gameplay was solid, that was pretty sad.
I feel cheated, as a supporter of RE since the original on PS1, I don't have nothing to look forward besides RE Code Veronica HD. The new Operation Raccoon City might be the RE with the most action to date with their big guns and leaving no evidence (kill everything that moves). I'm still not sure about Revelations though, I'm waiting for more information.
already have it on my pc running @ 1080p. this is probably just gnna b a 720p port.
should be a buy for anyone who hasn't played it tho :)
Heres a sad story.... Bought RE4 on GameCube first. beat about 6 times to unlock everything and just for the sake of beatig the damn game again. Then when it was announced that the PS2 version has new features I bought it on that system(I had sold my GC off a few months prior) beat about 4-5 times I lost count. Then when it came out on Wii, I couldn't pass it up for 30 bucks and new motion controls, so I purchases it on that system(Didn't have a PS2 anymore).... Here comes the sad part: I will probably buy it again on PS3 now....Sad huh? :)

not at all. I did the same except I got it for PC over PS2. 1080p FTW (even though its locked at 30fps.) Mods make it look a lot better than the HD remake. Might buy it if the price is right though, and Code veronica X.
That game's actually worth all that though.Heres a sad story.... Bought RE4 on GameCube first. beat about 6 times to unlock everything and just for the sake of beatig the damn game again. If it has move support like RE5 then I will be 100% getting it, as RE5 was great with move.Totalgym9000

No, I'm with you on that. I went through the exact same thing but I played through that game even more times. It never gets old for me, timeless clas.sic in my eyes.Heres a sad story.... I already have it for the PS2 but since going HDef it's been collecting dust cuz of bad it looks.
My greatest hope is not only that it'll look awesome but that they'll add something "extra"... something to entice you, hehe. But even if they don't I'd still buy it just because it's one of the greatest games ever made, period.
Not sad. That's dedication. How can you not get tired of the game, though?Heres a sad story.... If it came up in disc form, I sure as hell would even owning the Gamecube, PS2 and Wii versions already. I simply don't have the HDD space right now and I plan on trading in my PS3 in June (it has been having some disc problems so I want to get rid of it before it breaks on me :P) and put that towards a slim. I am graduating so I will have the money to do it. Probably stock up on some games I've missed out onbecause of HDD space too.
I've never played a RE game before so I might pick it up depending on the price.-Hoax-you will most definitely want to pick this one up
no i already bought re 4 for gamecube and wii lol why should i support another rehash if their not gonna give wii another re game or somthing
