I was happy with my 60 gig until it got YLOD, & even after I repaired it (myself) I couldn't trust it anymore. So I traded it in for a new Slim, & now I'm happy again.

The Slim can't play PS2 games (yet) but the 60 gig's BC sucks anyway. Plus the Slim's brand-new, it's quieter, it has 4 times more storage space & it has extended warranty. :)

I'm lovin' mine. Bought it because I got an HDTV and wanted a Blu ray player, but as soon as I got into some of the games, that's about all I do. I loved my PS2, but these current gen games just blow the old ones right out of the water. I had 30 hours of insane fun with Motorstorm Pacific Rift, now I'm on the last chapter of Dead Space, which is just a fantastic experience. Next it'll be Uncharted, then probably Uncharted 2. Still have BioShock that I haven't even taken out of the box yet, then there's the God of War collection coming in November. And Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and The Saboteur, Fallout 3 GOTY, then Dante's Inferno and a little game called God of War III. And then Heavy Rain and LA Noir. Oh, and Gran Tourismo 5.

Yup, I'm happy :D

At the 3rd red ring I would have taken it into my backyard thrown it in the air and hit it with a sledgehammer. Yes I am very happy with my PS3.

own a PS3 since launch (20gig got stolen) and after 93 games I am very happy. Had a 360 but got rid of it when it destroyed my game discs.

Yeap...

Only thing i realy miss is a Halo game. But i still wont buy a 35% failure rate console with 50$ online that probably wont eaven work in my country and is filled with loads of screamies =(.

On the originalXbox i did pay 2 years of Xbox Live, but since the PS3 is giving me free online. I see no point. Better luck next time M$

I'm very happy with my PS3. Bought it at the beginning of this past summer on a whim, and i've loved it ever since. Although I only have like 5 games for it, I can see some very good releases in the future which will further justify my purchase. Home, and the PSN are nice. I would like to see some more improvements with the Home system, it holds a lot of promise.

I've had a 360 for around 2.5 years and about 3 months after I bought my PS3 i got the RROD (past warranty, $100 to fix  ) . So its been sitting at home in my room while I'm at school with my PS3. So to answer your question: YES, I am very happy with my PS3... my only complaint is that it cannot play my 360 games.

I love my PS3. I got it in February, but it really didn't take off until July. Since then I've probably played it more than my 360, Wii, DS, and PSP combined. 7 RROD's is insane though. I've had my 360 since June 06 and only got 1 RROD (is that bad that I have to say only 1 RROD?). Good choice to make the switch. If I had 7 RROD's I definitely would have given up on 360 too. I think the problem was that they kept sending you refurbs and they didn't have the newest chipsets in them, so each one you got was just as likely to get RROD again as the last one was. If you are interested in buying another 360 though because of your friends, the new chipsets are supposedly much better so you shouldn't have to worry about RROD as much.
