..After the vita comes out. I want to keep mine but if there are good trade-in incentives I may cave. I don't have that many retail copies of games that's why I don't see a need in keeping it.

I am, because my PSP doesn't just play PSP games, I play a lot of PS1 games that I downloaded from the PSN, too.

Being able to play those games on a PS3 is nice and all, but I like to have it handheld. Not too sure if they have PS1 games supported on Vita.

I have close to 300 UMD PSP games so I have no choice but to keep it since the PS Vita is only compatible with downloadable PSP games. I also have a PSP 1000 & 3000. I don't plan on getting rid of either.

Definitly. For one, I love my PSP and I always keep my game systems. I also probably won't be able to afford the Vita when it comes out anyway...

Probably. I would trade it in so I wouldn't have to pay as much for the Vita, but I doubt GS would take it with the UMD drive as messed up as it is.

Yeah most people will probably get rid of their PSPs... I'm sure the Vita has some secret slot that you can jam your UMDs into ;)

Having only gotten my psp a year ago I will be hanging onto it for a while yet. I look forward to tons of cheap umd retail games for me to play. No way I could afford the ps vita for a while anyways, maybe a 3ds.

Nope. My PSP is still very new and I have about 22 UMD games I'll be wanting to play. Besides, my PSP 3000 is only about a year old. It still has that new feel to it. And regular PSP games will probably look nasty on the Vita anyway, so I'd rather play them on a normal PSP.

I only have 6 retail games(5 of which I would want to replace and download) so it would depend on how much money I could get for the PSP and games.

I am keeping mine. Even if the Vita played UMDs, there is really something about playing the games on the original system for me....

I'll be keeping my PSP for general and even if I did buy a PS Vita I would have no chance in playing any UMD games on it.

of course I'm keeping my psp. I have no reason to get rid of it. Just because the Xbox360 came out, didnt mean I was going to get rid of my original Xbox. Same thing goes for my playstation 1 and 2. Those trade in things at Gamestop are a ripoff. If you want to get rid of your psp before the next portable comes out, use Ebay, craigslist, or Amazon, you'll get A LOT more for you psp that way.

I'll trade in the Go to get the Vita a tad cheaper, and probably keep my friends PSP 3000 for the UMD games.

Ive already sold my 3 psp's. I sold my two psp go's on ebay for a good amount, and sold my psp 10t00 to a friend. I thought about keeping it for the media player and music player along with finishing P3P but I needed to capitalize on the moment before ebay is saturated with old psp's

Yes I will keep it, I have had one since launch day and it has been the best handheld system I have ever owned by far. I probably won't play it after the Vita comes out but I'm definitely not letting go of it, it has a lot of sentimental value to me.

Sold mine a couple of months ago, before the price drops too low. There are no trade-in programs and such where I live so there was no point in keeping it.

Also, despite having the crappiest internet connection imaginable, I'm all against physical game copies. They take too much space and too many trees die for the stupid manuals, cover arts and stuff like that, not to mention the resources publishers waste to distribute the physical copies. Switched to ebooks (Kindle) too, for the very same reasons.

I've heard that the VITA doesn't have a UMD drive - so yeah , I'm keeping my PSP even though it's about to "die" soon :X
Got it repaired sometime ago but man , I feel like I've been conned. Just a few God Eater Burst and Monster Hunter action and the buttons are starting to die on me again.

Yes :D All games are on the PSN so they will be added to the Vita. And the fact that the PSP can talk to the Vita is even better. I will prolly hand my psp to the wife and we can play some psp games together :D
