So Canadian dollars are 2% more than the US? That's less than most items that are taxed in each state, its 6% in FL.

Just move here, if you find that 2% is really tearing you up financially.

Yeah , I hate the fact that our stuff is always more expensive than the americans we even have to pay the 14 percent tax while they pay like 8 ( I think), but you also have got to feel sorry for the europeans since their stuff is more expensive than ours even after taxRoushrsh

Actually percent tax in the US varies by state. Usually averages out to around 7 for most. Sometimes 6, others 5, it all depends on the state.

Um we have 6 % GST and 8 % PST therefor 14 percent total, and the 8 percent was referring to the americans
