Assassin's Creed - NOT the game you think it is

I was watching the trailer that came out on the PSN in july i think, the one that's 1'55" long with the really cool song, and i saw something that completely took me by surprise, it was chemical compunds!!!, i was like wth. what would medieval stuff have to do with chemical compound figures? DL the vid if u havent already, then Pause it at 1'42" and then advance frames and you should see it after several frames, it also happens again 2 seconds later, its gonna be a big scientific twist on a medieval game, my brother thinks its some mental patient who thinks he's in medieval time, there's a gameinformer article about something like that,

they talked about that at e3 a little. its going to have a sci-fi twist...this is nothing new.

i bet its going to have to deal with ancestors...such as killing some political leaders great great great (and so on) grandfather.

it's to do with the theory of genetic memory apparently, one of the voice actors let this slip, the theory is to with memories of your ancestors being stored within your very genes, and in the future you'll be able to access these memories.

thats what i've heard, but it's not FACT. it may still be rumour

It was just confirmed in a very recent interview with Jade Raymond that the whole sci-fi twist thing has nothing to do with the story in any way. It's simply an art direction choice. They wanted to clash the worlds of modern/futuristic with sci-fi with the world of the medieval/crusade times just as a comparison as to how it's changed so much.
