AV (composite) or component with new Slim & Lite PSP's

Hello all, I've just purchased a PSP Slim & Lite and would like to link it to my TV (which is HD)

There are two cables available, the standard AV Cable and the Component (HD) Cable.

Is it worth getting the HD Cable? Is the image quality better because it only says that it displays at 480p, which isnt much more than standard AV. Any input would be a great help.
