Awesome, Finnaly some JRPG's coming this year...Oh wait....360 only!!?

There is no fanboyism in my post? I am just sick and tired of people pointing the proverbial shaking finger at Microsoft and screaming "bribery!" When it just isn't happening in this situation. Microsoft announces all of their major financial transactions because it is a very positive thing that shows they care deeply about the quality of the games available on their system.

To hear people bad mouth Microsoft out of jealousy that Sony won't man up and play ball just boils my blood. Microsoft is not to blame here, even if they were paying Square. Sony is to blame for thinking that they are still the king of videogames when they have been absolutely demolished this gen by both of the other consoles.

well, its not because m$ cares about their customers, its because they want more incomings. there are many people who were making great programs and m$ gave them enough money to retire in early age so they sold their programs/ideas to m$ so everyone was happy but the intent of m$ is obviously to stop any rival before even its born.

m$ plays good, its giving 1$ and getting 5$ in return so its wise, i dont say otherwise. and yes sony's arrogant attitude became their downfall, if they would give something to companies instead of m$, they would gain the upper hand.

but its just about 3rd party games and they are becoming multiplatform mostly now. sony has very good first party games and now they should start making rpgs too, unless they will try to get exclusivity for future rpgs releases. ps3 is still have upper hand in japan because they still sell many ps2 games and there are still games exclusively made for ps2. so they should just use this power. disgaea 3 is great example for that, it will be system seller for some people even though its still sprite based graphics game.

m$ tries to buy japan content by trying to buy exclusivities for jrpgs but i dont think they will succeed and eventually se will return to ps and nintendo. so it doesnt bother me much but still i would be happy if they would realize it sooner.

mgs4 will be turning point for ps3, if it cant sell ps3, nothing can sell because FFXIII is too far away from now. and with more units sold devs will be more relieved about making ps3 games

Ya, I'm pissed off at Square-Enix right now. But just remember that Star Ocean 4 and the Last Remnant are still coming to the PS3 we just have to wait a little longer. If you're looking for RPG's then we're getting Disgaea 3, Valkyrie Chronicles, and hopefully Eternal Sonta and White Knight Story. And don't worry about Final Fantasy XIII/Versus going to the 360, I'm willing to bet my PS3 that Sony already got that locked up.LuckyLy

Well we dont know if Star Ocean 4 is still coming to the PS3 according to PSU.com its still undecided if it will be on the PS3 i hope it is and if it isnt well i have a 360 also plus i always thought that Star Ocean was one of squares weakest francises to me that is always thought it got boring

Well, In the begining I had a 360 core and wouldnt have givin it up for anything. Some time passed and the Elite was born. I had to have one. 5 months after buying an Elite RROD. My core out of warranty I replaced the fans with the talismoon and the core still working to this day(from launch). The refurb I recieved after waiting 6 weeks was unacceptable condition given the price and amount of time I had it. Keeping it short M$ didnt give 2 s$#%@ about me a multi purchase of their consoles both generations. I bought a PS3 and cant believe I waited so long. I know things have been a little slow but I am willing to bet over the next 2 to 3 years we will see a huge change. I know there has to be others like myself who feels ripped off buying the 360. I cant help but wonder when peoples 3 year rrod warranty is up what will become of all the refurbs? Seriously. The only thing driving the 360 is LIVE and lets see was it 10,000,000 suscribers at $4 a month and still have online issues.

That undecided basicly means if it sells like crap in jpn and the u.s. Which I see happening. I dont think many 360 only owners care about JRPG's.

Preciesely. It's pretty much a given that star ocean will sell like crap on xbox360. So when that happens, it will be on ps3. But then again.. I hope by then, I'd see FF13 already!

It is sad how money controls everything now. :( I really think MS is paying all these RPG companies for Japan support. Why else would they do it? It's kind of pissing me off how this is happening. I think these JRPGs will flop in Japan and the will be FORCED to port them to the PS3.Chaos_Bladez
