HD is the highest quality in video performance.. blue ray is the same price.. BUT it has 7 times the capacity of a normal dvd... hd had the same amount just better quality.. so over all blue ray is betterTrogeton

That's old new dude. LG has announced a Dual HD Player that supports HD-DVD & Blu-Ray a long time ago. I honestly don't think it's going to matter. Both formats are going to fail in the end I think. Sony has over 3 million Blu-Rays in people homes, but is only selling 1500-2000 brand new Blu-Ray movies a week. HD-DVD is selling even worse. There will be a new format that holds 100GB very soon. Wait for it.
