Batman Arkham Asylum: Best reviewed superhero game of all time?

Hey I've noticed that superhero games that have come out recently haven't necessarily been receiving excellent reviews. On this site, such games don't receive scores higher than 7.5 or 8.0. But, to my surprise, Batman Arkham Asylum has received a 9.0, which is higher than any other superhero/comic book film I've viewed on here in a while.

Does anyone think that maybe this new Batman game could be the best reviewed superhero game ever?

The game is amazing. When I got it yesterday after-noon around 4, I popped it in and play non-stop until 2AM. I am almost close to beating it but I don't care... Its so much fun and I recommend it to anybody that enjoys fighting, stealth-action, amazing dialogue and of course BATMAN! But even if you don't like Batman this game still kicks ass.

the last great super hero games, at least for me were way back NES days. Batman AA looks amazing cant wait to get my hands on it.

I got it today and it really does live up to what everyone says. Everyone should try it :D

It's the best superhero game that I've ever played.

Ummmm......Infamous is a Super Hero game and it got a 9/10.

Of all the known superheroes Batman: Arkham Asylum is definitely the best, but of the unknown, it would definitely be inFamous. But I can tell ya, Batman: Arkham Asylum is truly a great game, definitely worth checking out.

This has been the best I have ever played. I am enjoying every minute of it. If you don't have this game yet, you don't know what your missing.

Ummmm......Infamous is a Super Hero game and it got a 9/10.

I think as a general rule, comic book and movie superhero games suck.

Obviously Batman AA is an exception

I don't like Batman and didn't really like the demo, still something inside me wants to give this game a chance though lol.
