As a relitive newcomer to the FPS genre I am interested to know which you all think you will get/will be better & why? I'm thinking of putting one on my shopping list later in the year. TBH I didn't like MW2. I haven't played BFBC2 but it's youtube vids look good.
BATTLEFIELD 3. Dammit this has to end now, Call of Duty! This crap is ruining originality in the game industry.
Not a single person should buy MW3. I don't care if you like the game, do it for the greater good. Devs shouldn't be able to get away with pumping out the same crap every year. Devs are artists, dammit. Sadly they have gotten fat and turned into cash potatoes.
I'm definitely not getting MW3. I am becoming more and more undecided about BF3. As long as DICE properly supports it, it hopefully won't fall to the same fate BC2 has fallen to.
Like I did with MW2, I'll wait until MW3 gets a major price drop to around $20. BF3 I've been wanting ever since I got B:BC2 (hoping the sp is better than BC2 since those characters were really annoying. the servers also have to be better, which is why it's not yet a day 1 purchase for me).
Fly around in a super fat jet i found sitting on the ground? Or trying my damnedest to get 7 kills without dying to call in a helicopter to hover in one spot? One of the easitest choices i have ever made as a gamer. Next you'll ask if i wanna fight slightly large devil pigs or huge awesome dragons.
Anyways, I voted Battlefield 3. No MW3 for me, thank you.

after the games are out it will still keep going many times for over a year :P people still ask blak ops or BFBC2 xD battlefield 3 for me, my best friend and brother are geting it and I loved BFBC2, always thought the opnline was better for battlefield aswell
I ll be getting BF3 as well, i dont have anything against cod, i just enjoy bf games more, last cod game i bought was mw2 and i thought it was pretty boring. I dont think i ll be coming back to the series any time soon.

I hated MW2. The game was a backward step from COD4 imo. But (sorry) I can't stand The kind of people who I encounter COD/MW games.
theres no real reason to buy mw3. excuse to say my friends will get mw3 is rubbish. just tell them lets all get bf3 and done...only reason to get mw3 is if you can only play by camping and if you are a newb.
i will be buying both but i to be honest i really wanna see how activision made the game, even though i hope it doesnt fail like BO.ethelwiss
black ops is modern warfare 2, mw2 is previous cod. previous cod is previous cod and so on....all the cods are the same exact thing. only difference is perks and few weapons. same fast paced, camping, gameplay, prestiges etc etc. so what can activision do different to this game? this is just another cod. cod 9 or 10 whichever one this is now...
BF3 for multiplayer, MW3 for single player. I'm equally excitied for both.

Have you played MW3? How do you know the single player is 4 hours long and that it's no good? I admit the campaign will be short, probably around 6/7 hours but how can you make assumption when you haven't even touched it?

ok my bad i will re-phrase.... IMO the campaign will be short around 4 hours since all the previous cods had a short campaign. IMO, single player campaign in previous cods has always been the same. disjointed and just random missions that happened back in the day thus making the campaign not good, well atleast for me....better?
Ended up voting for Battlefield 3, although I haven't played any of its predecessors.. I just think B3 looks a lot better than MW3 and I'm also far more curious about it.
I got Battlefield 1943 late last year and put over 100 hours into it since then, it's the only Battlefield I've played in the series. I was thinking of picking up BF:Bad company 2 but now I'm waiting for the Battlefield 3 beta this fall, if I enjoy it as much as 1943, They can have my cash...or whats left of it.:lol:
By the way, I've never been into COD. I tried a (single player) demo of black-ops and it was "Ehh"...Maybe the multi-player is better to be fair, but I've never cared enough to look.
