Bayonetta review is up -- 8

The Metacritic score for the PS3 version of Darksiders is an 87. The Metacritic score for the vastly inferior PS3 version of Bayonetta is a 90. Those scores could obviously change, but that isn't the case right now.

That is what I was hinting at before. Even though people said the 360 version is about 95, the PS3 version getting 90 shows how different people feel about the port. It's vastly inferior but still manages to score in the upper 80's or so by most people. For some reason I doubt it is as bad as people are making it. As I said before even the average critic score says the PS3 version scored 8.9. I think people should still play the game if they are interested and do not have a 360. Have fun playing.

Absolutely. I'm playing it right now. Honestly, unless you played the 360 version first, you probably wouldn't have a problem with it at all. The loading times are a little long I guess, but there is a tutorial during the loads, so it's actually not bad.

I've been playing it for a good 6 hours now and all i've noticed is the load times. Also all you do is practice moves, which really isn't a bad thing. I actually use it to my advantage, trying out different weapons to see if they fit my play style. As far as not keeping up in the fights, i have yet to see a slow down in the action. The frame rate has not lagged at all while i've been playing and it still looks good. I've never really listened to gamespot for reviews so whatever they have to say doesn't really effect me and it shouldn't effect the buyers of those on the edge, hoping to see a good review from gamespot to make them pick it up. This is still an amazing game, and to be experienced on whatever console you have.

Aren't some review websites handing out the same score to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions as well? That could explain why the PS3 version is still scoring so high.

i will rent it and hopefully it is not as bad as the demo

After finally getting to spend some time with this game, it has officially bumped Valkyria Chronicles out of my top 3 favorite PS3 games. If anybody lets the silly 1.0 difference in review scores stop them from giving this game a chance, I feel truly sorry for them.

Ok, after playing the first 3 chapters, I can say that this game is just awsome so far and I can imagine it getting better. There is not install which I thought would be for the ps3 version, but even without it, the game runs smooth. loading times take a bit of time, but practising your moves makes up for it. If anyone is still wondering wether to get when they know they want to, by all means feel free to get yours now.

Now back to the game

At my eb games store Bayonetta for the PS3 was sold out. Im glad I pre ordered.
