Based on past performance of the titles it's MLB 07: The Show hands down. This year might be a little different though. 2K7 looks AMAZING and they have ex-MVP guys on the team now. 2K7 has movies and screen shots out the butt while The Show has nothing. Yup, not a single screen shot or movie for the PS3 version. That's kinda odd and shakes my faith in this years offering a little.  I'm taking a wait and see approach this year.Â

Thats the sole reason I am going to buy MLB 2k7...I have yet to see one reason to buy MLB 07: The Show, and I wonder seeing how its less than 2 months away from release, Where are the screen shots...where are the videos...where is anything...there hasnt been anything released in regards to info about the game... I can buy a game that has nothing to show....(Pardon the pun)
2K has made pretty good baseball games but...given the problems that 2k has been having with glitches and stuff (remember 2k5, absolutely terrible)...I'm going to have to go with MLB the Show. Has anyone play MLB 06? That game was great!!! It was a pleasant surprise coming from Sony that they could make such a great baseball game. Right now they have the better game! And they can take as long as it takes (not midway through the season!!) to release another great game. I'm really anticipating something great on all three platforms...and that's saying a lot.
Given the history of "The Show". I will patiently wait for that one to come out. In the meantime I will rent MLB2k7 and give that a try. Come on guys. I have high hopes for the show because the past few were awesome on the PSP and the PS2. So that, plus just the thought of it in 1080p. Would make it the most beautiful baseball game of its time.

Thats not a reasonable comparison...two different games, two different developers...Sony is not known for their amazing graphics when it comes to sports titles (NBA 07)...I would like to see a game before I determine which one I will buy...and currently the only Baseball game I have seen is MLB 2k7... Also GTA IV is not supposed to be released in April...MLB 07: The Show is...I would think with only a few months left until the release date we would have seen at the very least a few screen shots...
Here's what I know... In my opinion, NBA 2K7 dominates NBA 07 in a big big way. I don't know anything about The Show, but what I've heard about MLB 2K7, especially the use of Sixaxis during batting, sounds very intriguing. It comes out sooner so I can play it sooner. I am going with 2K7
I also loved MLB 06 the show, an was real unhappy with 2k6 for the 360. Oneof the main reasons i bought a ps3 was because of the mlb series. I did not want to be stuck with buying a crappy baseball game from 2k every year. I admit that 2k7 is shapping up nicely though. I am concerned with the show for ps3 this year. Usually when you have this little information with a realease date soon its bad news. I would not be surprised if dont see the show 07 until june, or maybe even canceling it this year for PS3. If we do get it i bet it will be a stripped down version of the ps2 game. Time will tell, but atleast 2k7 is looking like the comback player of the year.
If anyone caught on the spot last night, they had a developer from 2k to show off the game, he said that they revamped everything, i loved mlb 06, but i want my baseball fix as soon as possible and if 2k7 sux then i'll return it, no big deal.

I would hope so. It's just kind of strange that Sony has not released any screenshots considering that 2k7 will be out within 2 weeks.
think about it though 2k7 game just released there videos and screen shots a couple weeks ago which is about 1 month from release i imagine the show will be doing something similar or come out with stuff like a week b4 2k7 comes out so people will wait for that game.

MLB 2k7 looks pretty impressive this year, nothing has been shown on MLB The Show yet, so I have to go with 2k7... although my opinion is subject to change.
I can't wait to see how 07 will look on the ps3, cause there really gonna put effort into the game. Mlb 2k7 from what I've seen is a baseball gamers dream game. It looks great when you see the videos but we will have to see if it really plays like that. Also i just love Career mode its awesome and I can't give it up.
