I personally think it's Fallout 3 , i just love everything about this game!

I never got on with Fallout 3/Oblivion; I've re-visited them about 3 times each, trying to love them, but I just can't. Haven't tried New Vegas for that reason.
I don't know what then possessed me to buy Skyrim on day 1, but I've loved every minute of it and i've had no problems with it on my PS3. So Skyrim.
New Vegas wasn't made by Bethesda. It's also much better than anything they've released since Morrowind. Better than that as well.
Fallout 3 by far. I loved the post-apocayptic wasteland which was artistically superb and the overall atmosphere was excellent. Shame about the framerate and freezing issues, otherwise the perfect RPG.

Bethesda didn't make New Vegas. Fallout 3 was definitely the most memorable of their games for me, I'd say it's my third favorite game this gen. New Vegas is really good, as is Oblivion and Skyrim, but they just don't compare for me. I was extremely casual going into this gen. Fallout 3 was my first open world game, first RPG, first post-apocalyptic experience, etc. I had no idea what was going on all the time. I trembled in my boots at the thought of leaving the safety of Megaton so I stayed there for twenty hours preparing for an expedition to the Super Duper Mart down the road only to get my ass kicked by maurading bandits before I even got there. The whole experience, simply incredible.
Fallout 3 had the most interesting story, atmosphere, enemies and there was a huge impact you could make on the outcome of every quest plus each city was unique and interesting, although the bugs and the framerate were quite bad.
Oblivion would be second, it had an okay story but nice enemies and felt much more fantasy-ish than Skyrim. I also liked the atmosphere and the huge amounts of interesting locations (caves and dungeons not counted).
Skyrim is third since it felt largely unpopulated, cheap enemy variety and repetitive quests, but it has the best graphics, good detail, NPC schedules are improved and had more beautiful locations yet it feels more medieval than fantasy.
New Vegas comes last as I really haven't gotten much into the game but it seems to have even better enemies than FO3 and the biggest weapon arsenal and great quests. But the atmosphere was totally nailed and it looked more like a desert countryside than a wasteland and I hated the NPCs. But giving it the fourth place doesn't mean it's bad. Actually, I liked all the games except Skyrim (not amazing like the others but great nevertheless) but since I haven't played more than 20 hours of New Vegas, Skyrim overtakes it.
[QUOTE="Venom_Raptor"]hopefully they will fix that in Fallout 4 :P Eh not likely unless its next gen. A big part of the problem is the way the PS3 itself splits the memory, so it makes it extremely difficult for Bethesda to develop these kinds of games for it. I'm sure Bethesda's programming could still a little bit better, but I don't think the problem will ever be solved this gen.Fallout 3 by far. I loved the post-apocayptic wasteland which was artistically superb and the overall atmosphere was excellent. Shame about the framerate and freezing issues, otherwise the perfect RPG.

I played Skyrim longer than any of the other 3, & it was much easier to play on normal difficulty than the others, so yeah Skyrim gets my vote.
As someone above said Fallout: Las Vegas wasn't made by Bethesda. From the other three games it's really difficult to choose, I liked all of them although I have to say I preferred Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim more than it's predecessor. I guess I'd have to pick Fallout 3, I bought it cheaply, and played it, absolutely bloody hated everything about it, left it, tried again still hated it so left it, took me a couple of more times before I "got it" and realised just how good it was, and how much fun it was, Skyrim I guess is a great game that I really like but it'd a chore because there is so much to do, so much travelling, so many factions, etc, were as Fallout seems less like work.
F'ed in the A? what does that mean? please explain with graphic detail :P :D Bethesda is infamous for almost outright ignoring issues involving the PS3's limited memory. It has the same as the 360 it's just partitioned so that only half of it can be used for games. One possible fix would be to "clean house" of all the corpses and items laying around every few in game days instead of every month. The 360 has the exact same issues it just takes twice as long to get there.[QUOTE="Boddicker"]The Fallout and Elder Scrolls series are my 2 absolute favorites. However I own a ps3 so I'm routinely F'ed in the A by Bethesda.CyberLips
Yeah, pretty much Fallout 3, I enjoyed it even without the ability of Mods, I regret it every now and then, but then again it offers pretty much cool official stuff with it's DLC's in the GOTY Edition that it doesn't hurt too much.
For me, Oblivion easily. I didn't care for Fallout, and Skyrim didn't grab me like Oblivion did.
Oblivion by a wide margin.

Incorrect. Played it on both Xbox and PC.
I thought it was great, but Oblivion is still by far my favorite for numerous reasons.
Fallout 3 lasted me one long playthrough and was spectacular. However I've played Fallout New Vegas twice, one run with DLC that pushed the save file to almost 100 hours and I'm thinking about a 3rd run to play through the Legion's story. The amount of content and replay value makes it my favourite game this generation.
I tried Oblivion on PC (Steam summer sale) and didn't like it so I didn't bother with Skyrim. Might give it a shot this summer.
I was starting to get very bored with videogames, and then Fallout 3 came and re-established my faith in them. Although New Vegas was essentially the same, it still wasn't as good as FO3. Skyrim was a great and awesome looking game, but my vote goes to Fallout 3, as it may be one of my favorite games ever, if not my favorite.

Well I hope so, especially since Prey 2 has been delayed because Bathesda aren't content with how it looks, so that should be addressed in Fallout 4. Above anything else in the next Fallout game though is building the game with a solid framerate, that's where Fallout games have always become frustrating. It is the key aspect to the entire game.
